Hargreaves Lansdown plc announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the year ended June 30, 2015. For the period, the company reported revenue GBP 395,137,000 compared to GBP 358,393,000 a year ago. Operating profit was GBP 198,051,000 compared to GBP 208,021,000 a year ago. Profit before tax was GBP 199,038,000 compared to GBP 209,786,000 a year ago. Profit attributable to equity shareholders of the parent company was GBP 156,664,000 compared to GBP 162,091,000 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share were 33.1 pence compared to 34.2 pence a year ago. Net cash generated from operating activities was GBP 171,388,000 compared to GBP 167,021,000 a year ago. Purchases of property, plant and equipment was GBP 2,590,000 compared to GBP 5,018,000 a year ago. Purchase of intangible assets was GBP 2,887,000 compared to GBP 2,569,000 a year ago. Capital expenditure, primarily on IT hardware and software, totaled GBP 5.5 million this year, compared with GBP 7.6 million last year. It primarily relates to the cyclical replacement of hardware and the continuation of the project to enhance the capacity of key administration systems. Last year included a significant investment in hardware which has not had to be repeated this year.
