DCB Bank Limited provides commercial banking services to customers in India. The company operates through Treasury Operations, Corporate/Wholesale Banking, Retail Banking, and Other Banking Operations segments. It offers deposit products, such as current and savings accounts, term deposits, NRI deposits, corporate salary accounts, point of sale terminals, and lockers; auto, commercial vehicle, construction equipment, crop/dairy, home, tractor, and warehouse construction loans, as well as loans against gold, property, and shares; cards; wealth management services comprising financial planning, mutual fund, and life and general insurance services; and phone, Internet, and mobile banking services. The company also provides current accounts, working capital and term loans, supply chain, portfolio buyout, import/export, bills collection, foreign exchange, letters of credit, guaranty, cash management, RTGS/NEFT, and Internet banking services. In addition, it offers statutory reserves management, liquidity management, and government securities trading services, as well as foreign exchange and corporate bonds, CDs, and equity investment products. It serves customers in various segments, including retail, micro-SME, SME, mid-corporate, agriculture, commodity, government, and public sector companies, as well as Indian banks, co-operative banks, and non banking finance companies. As of March 31, 2015, DCB Bank Limited operated through 154 branches and 328 ATM centers. The company was formerly known as Development Credit Bank Limited and changed its name to DCB Bank Limited in October 2013. DCB Bank Limited was incorporated in 1995 and is based in Mumbai, India.

DCB Bank Limited Reports Unaudited Standalone Earnings Results for the First Quarter Ended June 30, 2015; Provides Tax Rate Guidance for 2015 and 2016

DCB Bank Limited reported unaudited standalone earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2015. For the quarter, interest earned was INR 4,043.2 million against INR 3,522.0 million last year. Profit from operating activities before tax was INR 716.3 million against INR 582.9 million last year. Net profit was INR 468.7 million or INR 1.62 per diluted share before and after extraordinary items against INR 446.4 million or INR 1.76 per diluted share before and after extraordinary items last year. Return on assets was 1.16% against 1.39% last year. Operating profit before provisions and contingencies was INR 896.6 million against INR 812.3 million last year. Net interest income year-on-year underlying growth is 29%. Quarter-on-quarter, company’s interest income has grown by 8%. For the year 2016 and 2015, the company expects tax rate of 34% and 34.5%.
