The company also owns and operates Web properties and software applications for PCs and mobile devices, including the 17173.com Website, an information portals for game players in China; the wan.com Website, a games portal that provides a collection of Web games of third-party developers to game players; RaidCall, which provides online music and entertainment services, primarily in Taiwan; and the Dolphin Browser, a gateway to a host of user activities on mobile devices, with its users in Europe, Russia, and Japan. As of December 31, 2014, it had approximately 25 million total average monthly active accounts; and 3.4 million total average monthly active paying accounts. The company was founded in 2003 and is based in Beijing, the People’s Republic of China. Changyou.com Limited is a subsidiary of Sohu.com Inc.

Changyou.com Limited announced the appointment of Ms. Carol Yu as a member of the Board to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Mr. Tao Wang, the company's former CEO. Ms. Carol Yu has been with Sohu.com Inc. since March 2004 and is currently Co-CEO of Changyou, President and Chief Financial Officer of Sohu. Ms. Yu has extensive experience and knowledge with U.S.-listed companies. The company also announced the appointment of Ms. Jasmine Zhou as Chief Financial Officer. Changyou.com Limited reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2014. For the quarter, the company's total revenues were $215,913,000 compared to $194,851,000 a year ago. The increase was mainly due to the successful launch of new mobile game, TLBB 3D, in the fourth quarter. Operating loss was $2,178,000 compared to operating profit of $29,139,000 a year ago. Income before income tax expense was $2,807,000 compared to $35,275,000 a year ago. Net income attributable to the company was $10,899,000 compared to $42,999,000 a year ago. Diluted net income per ADS attributable to the company was $0.21 compared to $0.81 a year ago. Non GAAP operating profit was $657,000 compared to $29,468,000 a year ago. Non GAAP net income attributable to the company was $13,669,000 compared to $43,328,000 a year ago. Non GAAP diluted net income per ADS attributable to the company was $0.25 compared to $0.82 a year ago. For the year, the company's total revenues were $755,266,000 compared to $737,875,000 a year ago. Operating loss was $41,749,000 compared to operating profit of $305,508,000 a year ago. Tencent Holdings is eyeing performance and brand influence of 17173.com, pointed out above source without unveiling detailed information. Upon completion, Games.qq.com, the online gaming media of Tencent's official website, will merge with 17173.com and integrate 17173.com's human resources to Tencent's own platform.
