Commodore Applied Technologies, Inc. offers a range of environmental and technical services to the public and private sectors. It offers services related to environmental management for the on-site and off-site identification, investigation, remediation, and management of hazardous, and mixed and radioactive waste; and remediating contamination in soils, liquids, and other materials, as well as disposing of or reusing certain waste by-products by utilizing the company’s Solvated Electron Technology (SET). The company’s SET is non-thermal, portable, and scalable process for treating and decontaminating soils, and other materials, including sludges, sediments, oils and hydrocarbon liquids, metals, clothing, and porous and non-porous structures, as well as for destroying PCBs, pesticides, dioxins, chlorinated substances, chemical weapons and warfare agents, and other toxic contaminants. It also provides specialized technical and project management products and services primarily to government-sector customers, including the Department of Energy and the Department of Defense, as well as to private-sector domestic industrial customers, as well as sells safety, protective, and technical equipment used by its customers and hazardous material handlers. The company markets its services and technologies to governmental and industrial customers in the United States, eastern Europe, and the Middle East. Commodore Applied Technologies, Inc. was founded in 1996 and is based in New York, New York.
