CanWel Building Materials Group Ltd. announced earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2015. For the quarter, the company reported revenues remained relatively unchanged at $224.5 million when compared to $225.9 million in the same period in 2014. The slight decrease in revenues during the second quarter of 2015 was primarily due to the impact of market condition factors. EBITDA for the three months ended June 30, 2015 amounted to $12.2 million compared to $12.6 million in the same quarter of 2014. As a result of the foregoing factors, net income amounted to $6.1 million during the second quarter of 2015, when compared to $6.9 million during the second quarter in 2014. For the six-month period ended June 30, 2015, the company generated EBITDA of $13.7 million on revenues of $384 million. This compares to 2014 EBITDA of $13.8 million on revenues of $375 million. Net earnings was $4.917 million against $5,792 million a year ago.
