The ICG segment offers various banking, and financial products and services to corporate, institutional, public sector, and high-net-worth clients. This segment provides wholesale banking products and services, including fixed income and equity sales and trading, foreign exchange, prime brokerage, derivative services, equity and fixed income research, corporate lending, investment banking and advisory services, private banking, cash management, trade finance, and securities services. Citigroup Inc. was founded in 1812 and is based in New York, New York.

Citigroup to Pay $15 Million to Settle SEC Compliance Charge

Securities Exchange Commission announced that Citigroup agreed to pay $15 million to settle charges alleging it failed to enforce policies and procedures designed to prevent insider trading. The SEC announced probe found that Citigroup did not review thousands of trades executed by its trading desks during a 10-year period. Separately, the bank will provide reimbursements totaling over $4.5 million to more than 15,000 customers of its subsidiary Citigroup Global Markets (CGMI) since they were over changed fees on their investment accounts.

Citi Hires Adnan Choudhary as Project Manager of Bank's Transition Management Team for Europe, the Middle-East and Africa

Citigroup Inc. has announced that Adnan Choudhary has joined the bank as Project Manager within the bank's Transition Management team for Europe, The Middle-East and Africa. Adnan will be responsible for managing portfolio transition projects for institutional clients in the region. He is to join from State Street, where he worked as a transition manager for over seven years.

Citi and MasterCard Sign 10-Year Local Agreement

Citi and MasterCard signed a 10-year local agreement that expands relationship in the Middle East, as part of recently announced global agreement announced earlier 2015. Citi will align consumer credit and debit issuing to the MasterCard network in the UAE and Bahrain.
