Credit Suisse Group AG was founded in 1856 and is headquartered in Zurich, Switzerland.

Credit Suisse to Close Down Managed Lending Business

Credit Suisse announced a plan to close down its managed lending business, meant for institutional investors. The bank said that it was closing down the unit that was meant to provide third-party agency securities lending services to large institutional investors by June 30, 2015.

Credit Suisse Group AG Announces Executive Changes

Credit Suisse Group AG appointed Eraj Shirvani global head of emerging markets at its investment bank. Shirvani will succeed Chris Corson, who will take on a new role developing new markets and product solutions within the fixed-income business. Shirvani will retain his role as head of fixed income in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. David Miller, who is co-head of Credit Suisse's global credit productsunit with Shirvani, will become sole head of the business. The changes will take effect February 1, 2015. In addition, the bank appointed Mathew Cestar co-head of credit products for the EMEA region with Jonathan Moore. Cestar's responsibilities include all primary market business, while Moore will be in charge of all secondary market trading. Didier Denat, who is co-head of the EMEA leveraged finance and sponsors group with Cestar, will become sole head of the business.
