The company, through its subsidiary, Riverland Ag Corp., engages in cereal grain storage, customer-specific procurement, and ‘process ready’ cleaning of specialty grains, such as oats, barley, rye, and durum wheat; and offers a range of services to its customers to help manage the risks associated with the price, quality, and availability of these critical food grains. As of May 12, 2015, it owned and operated 9 grain storage and handling assets in Minnesota, New York, and Ontario with an aggregate storage capacity of approximately 47 million bushels. Riverland Ag also manages two facilities in Wyoming on behalf of its customer-owner. The company, through its 25% interest in Stewart Southern Railway Inc., operates a short-line railway with a range of 130 kilometers in South-eastern Saskatchewan. In addition, Ceres Global Ag Corp. is developing Northgate Commodities Logistics Centre, a grain, oil, and oilfield supplies transloading site. The company was incorporated in 2007 and is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.

Ceres Global Ag Corp. announced that it has expanded the breadth of its operations by opening a grain merchandising office in Guelph, ON. The new location will play a key role in extending the Company's trading and merchandising reach into Ontario and eastern Canadian markets. Concurrently, Ceres has announced the addition of Mr. Dana Omland to its Trading and Risk management Team. Mr. Omland will be based in Guelph, ON and has over 25 years of experience in the commodity and finance sectors, notably within the Ontario grains industry. Previously, Mr. Omland worked in grain merchandising for Lansing Canada as well as Ontario Wheat Producers' Marketing Board.

Ceres Global Ag Corp. Announces Commencement of Energy Transloading Operations at Northgate

Ceres Global Ag Corp. announced that it has entered into an agreement with Elbow River Marketing Ltd. for transloading and storage of natural gas liquids (NGL) products at its Northgate Commodity Logistics Centre. Ceres has begun the process of loading propane rail cars at Northgate for Elbow River, with a total of 44 rail cars loaded in April. The strategic agreement between Ceres and Elbow River will entail the transloading of propane from truck to railcars for shipment to the US market via the BNSF from Northgate, Saskatchewan. The direct link to the US provides an added access point for NGL products and Ceres plans to scale up capacity of its NGL transloading operations to meet market demand conditions.
