Cooper-Standard Holdings Inc., through its subsidiaries, designs, manufactures, and sells sealing, fuel and brake delivery, fluid transfer and anti-vibration systems components, subsystems, and modules. Its sealing systems comprise dynamic and static seals, encapsulated glass, specialty sealing products, stainless steel and polycarbonate hardcoat trims, flush glass systems, variable extrusions, agrifiber seals, and films for thermoplastic vulcanizate and polypropylene seals. The company’s fuel and brake delivery systems include chassis and tank fuel lines and bundles, metallic brake lines and bundles, direct injection and port fuel rails, and quick connects. Its fluid transfer systems consist of heater/coolant hoses, DPF emission lines, degas tanks, air intake and charge products, and powertrain lines, as well as turbo charger, secondary air, and brake and clutch hoses. The company also provides anti vibration systems, such as powertrain mount systems comprising elastomeric, conventional, hydraulic, and multi-state that are used for engine and transmission applications; chassis and suspension mount systems, including conventional and hydraulic bushings, strut mounts, spring seats, bumpers, mass dampers, and dual durometer bushings; and body and frame mount systems. Its products are primarily used in passenger vehicles and light trucks that are manufactured by automotive original equipment manufacturers and replacement markets. Cooper-Standard Holdings Inc. was founded in 1960 and is headquartered in Novi, Michigan.

Cooper-Standard Holdings Inc. announced the appointment of Jonathan P. Banas to vice president, corporate controller and chief accounting officer, effective September 14, 2015. In this position, Banas will oversee all aspects of Cooper Standard's accounting function including: ensuring regulatory compliance; setting and enforcing accounting policies; maintaining financial records; and developing financial best practices. Based at Cooper Standard's world headquarters in Novi, Banas will report to Matthew Hardt, executive vice president and chief financial officer. Before joining Cooper Standard, Banas spent 11 years at ZF TRW (formerly TRW Automotive Holdings Corp.) in Livonia, Mich., where he served in roles of increasing responsibility. Most recently, he was director, financial reporting, where he was responsible for worldwide financial reporting, including SEC, consolidation and technical accounting processes. He joined the company as senior manager, financial reporting and technical accounting in 2004.

Cooper-Standard Holdings Inc. announced that the company has appointed Brigit Anthony as Vice President of engineering and technology for North America. In this position, Anthony will lead the North American team of over 300 engineers, scientists and technicians in engineering and technical centers in Southeast Michigan; Auburn, Indiana; Bowling Green, Ohio and Mitchell, Ontario. Based at Cooper Standard's North American headquarters in Novi, she will report to Bill Pumphrey, Senior Vice President and President of North America.

Cooper-Standard Opens Two New Facilities in China

Cooper-Standard announced that it set up two new facilities in China, one in Kunshan and the other in Shenyang. As Cooper Standard continues to grow in China and across the Asia Pacific region, these new facilities will further strengthen market positions and enable the company to better serve the customers. The company unveiled its second Kunshan facility, which is a manufacturing and test centre focused on fluid transfer, and fuel and brake delivery systems. The Kunshan and Shenyang locations cover 25,060 and 8,721 square metres, respectively. These new facilities will not only improve volume and product mix for Cooper-Standard, they are also expected to add over 500 employees to its Chinese workforce, including 20 engineers to fully support the development of global platforms designed in Asia.
