In addition, the company manufactures and markets mattresses and bed frames primarily under the Beka, Lattoflex, Literie Bultex, Schlaraffia, Sembella, Superba, and Swiss Flex brand names; and thermal insulation products under the Euro Wall, Powerroof, Powerdeck, and Powerwall brand names for use in construction and renovation projects. Further, it provides insulation, extruded foam sections, synthetic wine bottle corks, decoration and expanded foam leisure products, and foam components for the bedding industry; teaches languages; holds interests in an investment fund that consists of a portfolio of shareholdings in companies involved in medical technologies and services; produces and sells chocolates through own shops and franchisees; and produces lactic acid primarily for use as a food additive. Additionally, the company focuses on developing proprietary small anti-diabetes molecules, as well as on identifying new proprietary small molecules that are active against pathologies of the central sex-hormones axis; develops, produces, and markets carbon nanotubes and products formulated on the basis of carbon nanotubes; offers technologies and services relating to digital cinema; engages in the treatment of osteoarticular diseases by cellular therapy; and offers tableware. The company is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium.

Compagnie du Bois Sauvage SA announced consolidated financial results for the year ended December 31, 2014. For the year, the company reported operating income of €194.632 million against €184.007 million a year ago. Result before taxes was €9.701 million against €14.095 million a year ago. Net loss for the year Group share was €1.073 million against €1.403 million a year ago. Net global loss for the year attributable to the Group was €5.05 million against €15.117 million a year ago. The "Operating results before disposals and changes in fair value" were €24.3 million versus €7.8 million in 2013. This substantial improvement is mainly due to the fact that in 2013 operating results were affected by non recurrent elements. The Board of Directors of the company suggested to continue its policy of steady dividend growth and to raise it to a gross amount of €7.36 per share (+1.1% versus 2013) for the year 2014. Record date is April 30, 2015, ex-date is April 29, 2015 and payment date is May 4, 2015.
