Lomiko and Canada Strategic Start Drill Program at La Loutre

Lomiko Metals Inc. and Canada Strategic Metals announced that the La Loutre drill program has begun. After completion, the property will then be assessed for a resource and a pre-economic assessment (PEA) if warranted. A recent sampling program provided encouraging results identified high-grade, near surface mineralization. Setting high standards is required to stand out in the current and future graphite market. Viable near-surface mineralization reduces the amount of waste rock that needs to be moved, reducing overall cost of the project and reducing environmental impact. Recent PEA publications in the graphite industry indicating capital expenditures of CAD 100 million or more for developing a project and an oversupply of graphite projects requiring sustained prices of over $2,500 per tonne stresses the need to deliver a low CAPEX Project with sustainable costs in the current small, volatile market.

Canada Strategic Metals Inc. Announces Executive Changes; Reports Preliminary Results of Helicopter-Borne Magnetic and Time-Domain Electromagnetic Survey

Canada Strategic Metals Inc. announced that the change of role in its management team. It has been jointly agreed that Mr. Romary will no longer serve as President and will be replaced by Mr. Jean-Sébastien Lavallée. Mr. Romary will remain close to the company in the capacity of financial consultant. The company reported preliminary results of the helicopter-borne magnetic and time-domain electromagnetic (TDEM) survey performed by Prospectair Geosurveys over the New Gold Property during the month of June 2015. The survey was successful in detecting series of EM conductors dispersed in the vicinity of the northern edge of a wide magnetic anomaly. The EM anomalies are not very strong and are of limited extents, which is very similar to the EM response associated to the series of gold bearing showings found in the surroundings of the past producing Eastmain Mine, as can be seen on the VTEM results collected in 2005 in the area (Sigeom reference GM62979). The high-resolution magnetic results are also very interesting. A wide, long wavelength, magnetic anomaly trending ENE-WSW is found in the middle of the Property, extending much further outside of it as can be seen on public regional magnetic data, and is interpreted to be caused by mafic/ultramafic rocks at some depth, with possible sub-outcropping expression locally. In addition, a very strong magnetic dyke striking NNW-SSE is interpreted to cross the Property in the middle. Since the magnetic signal changes abruptly, both in amplitude and wavelength, on each sides of the interpreted dyke, this dyke was likely emplaced within a regional fault structure. It is worth noting that this strong regional magnetic dyke extends for at least 50km and crosses Eastmain Resources' Ruby Hill Property some 15km further to the northwest of the New Gold Property. Several gold mineralized showings are found in the Ruby Hill Property, within a few kilometers of this same structure. These showings are also found at the northern edge of a wide ENE-WSW trending magnetic anomaly associated to mafic/ultramafic intrusive and volcanic rocks. The very similar signature found in the New Gold area increases its potential for gold exploration. Ultramafic rocks are also found in close proximity to gold mineralization at the Eastmain Mine, and have been thought to play a role in the Eastmain deposit genesis (Couture, 1993). Overall, the EM anomalies and the interpreted geological context of the New Gold Property are considered highly prospective, and follow-up work is planned for later in the summer as a result.

Canada Strategic Metals Announces Beginning of 304 Kilometres Airborne Survey on New Gold Project, James-Bay Near Visible Gold Boulders Discovery

Canada Strategic Metals, Inc. reported the beginning of an airborne survey on its 100% own New Gold property James Bay. Canada Strategic Metals has contracted Prospectair Geosurveys Inc. of Gatineau, Quebec, for a detailed helicopter-borne magnetic and time-domain electromagnetic (TDEM) survey of its New Gold project in James Bay, in the province of Quebec. The survey is expected to be completed before the end of the month of June. The property was acquired by map designation following a compilation of all the information available from the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources and an assessment of the glacial train aimed at identifying the potential in-situ source of the boulders identified by Visible Gold Mines. The compilation also indicated that the property covers a strong SW-NE magnetic anomaly crossed by a NW-SE major structure. The junction of these two structures is located right in the middle of the newly-acquired property, named the NEW GOLD project. The MAG-TDEM geophysical survey will consist of a data acquisition program over a total of 304 linear kilometers on one survey block at 100-metre line spacing. Upon completion of the heliborne survey, Joel Dube, Eng, a consultant specialized in geophysics, will generate anomaly-picking and interpretation maps. These products will be key in providing prospective guidance on potential mineralization targets for future prospection and drilling program. A preliminary map will be available soon after the survey is completed, and final maps, data and report are expected within two weeks of completion of the data acquisition. A Eurocopter EC120B aircraft equipped with the lightweight ProspecTEM system and a Geometrics magnetometer will be used to carry out the survey. This cost-effective geophysical configuration is well adapted for reconnaissance surveys with the objective of delineating conductors to a depth of about 150 metres while maintaining excellent spatial resolution. Given the conductive and magnetic nature of the angular mineralized boulders found by Visible Gold Mines along road 167, the MAG-TDEM heliborne technology offers an adapted data combination, thus maximizing chances to discover the sub-outcropping sources of the boulders found in the area by Visible Gold Mines.
