China Life Insurance Co. Ltd. reported unaudited consolidated and parent earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015. For the period, on consolidated basis, the company reported operating revenue of CNY 192.6 billion, rising 24.9% from a year earlier. Net profit reached CNY 12.27 billion, hiking 69.8%. Basic EPS were CNY 0.43. Weighted average return on net assets was 4.19%. Operating profit was CNY 16,142 million against CNY 8,772 million a year ago. Net profit before income tax was CNY 16,091 million against CNY 8,761 million a year ago. Net cash flows from operating activities was CNY 392 million against CNY 50,419 million a year ago. Net cash flows from operating activities per share was CNY 0.01. Premiums earned were CNY 150,310 million against CNY 128,970 million a year ago. For the quarter, on parent basis, the company reported operating income of CNY 191,979 million against CNY 153,972 million a year ago.
