It also provides flavoring ingredients, sweeteners, beverage ingredients, and fountain syrups, as well as powders for purified water products. In addition, the company licenses its technologies and trademarks to suppliers and third parties. The Coca-Cola Company sells its products primarily under Coca-Cola, Diet Coke, Coca-Cola Light, Coca-Cola Zero, Fanta, Sprite, Minute Maid, Georgia, Powerade, Del Valle, Schweppes, Aquarius, Minute Maid Pulpy, Dasani, Simply, Glacéau Vitaminwater, Bonaqua/Bonaqa, Ayataka, Gold Peak, I LOHAS, and FUZE TEA brand names. The company offers its beverage products through a network of company-owned or controlled bottling and distribution operators, as well as through independent bottling partners, distributors, wholesalers, and retailers. The Coca-Cola Company was founded in 1886 and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.

The Coca-Cola Company Announces Executive Changes

The Coca-Cola Company announced James Quincey has been named President and Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately. As President and COO, Quincey will have responsibility for all of the company's operating units worldwide. He will report directly to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Muhtar Kent. Quincey, 50, is a 19-year veteran of Coca-Cola and since 2013 served as President of The Coca-Cola Company’s Europe Group. Under Quincey’s leadership, the Europe Group, the Company’s most profitable operating group, strategically expanded its brand portfolio and improved execution across the geography. Concurrent to Quincey’s appointment, Ahmet Bozer, Executive Vice President and President of Coca-Cola International, will retire after a distinguished 25-year career in the Coca-Cola system. Bozer will stay with Coca-Cola until March 2016, to ensure a smooth transition and serve as an adviser to Muhtar Kent and the Company on key strategic initiatives. Bozer, 55, began his career with Coca-Cola in 1990 as a Financial Controller Manager in Atlanta, and has advanced to serve in numerous leadership roles throughout the Coca-Cola system, including Managing Director of Coca-Cola Bottlers of Turkey (now Coca-Cola Icecek A.S.), President of the Eurasia Group and President of the Eurasia & Africa Group, where he led the Company’s business activities in more than 90 countries.

The Coca-Cola Company Reports Unaudited Consolidated Earnings Results for the Second Quarter and Six Months Ended July 3, 2015; Provides Earnings Guidance for the Year 2015

The Coca-Cola Company reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended July 3, 2015. For the quarter, the company reported net operating revenues of $12,156 million compared to $12,574 million a year ago. Operating income was $2,535 million compared to $3,170 million a year ago. Income before income taxes was $4,361 million compared to $3,384 million a year ago. Consolidated net income was $3,111 million compared to $2,605 million a year ago. Net income attributable to shareowners of the company was $3,108 million or $0.71 per diluted share compared to $2,595 million or $0.58 per diluted share a year ago. Non-GAAP net operating revenues were $12,149 million compared to $12,546 million a year ago. Non-GAAP operating income was $3,154 million compared to $3,326 million a year ago. Non-GAAP income before income taxes was $3,593 million compared to $3,677 million a year ago. Non-GAAP net income attributable to shareowners of the company was $2,781 million or $0.63 per diluted share compared to $2,853 million or $0.64 per diluted share a year ago. For the six months period, the company reported net operating revenues of $22,867 million compared to $23,150 million a year ago.
