The company also provides credit facilities for large corporates and institutional customers; specialized financing, such as export financing, project and asset financing, etc., as well as international operations and foreign branch services. In addition, it offers capital market services, including fixed income instruments, equities and foreign currencies, and brokerage services; and private banking services, such as finance and private asset management to entrepreneurs and private investors. Further, the company is involved in the provision of private equity services comprising equity investments, M&A advisory, and financial and capital markets engineering. As of December 31, 2014, it operated a network of 2,047 branches in France, 3 foreign branches, 35 foreign representative offices, and 22 foreign private banking offices. The company was founded in 1859 and is headquartered in Paris, France. Crédit Industriel et Commercial is a subsidiary of Banque Fédérative du Crédit Mutuel.
