China Aviation Oil Corporation Ltd Announces Executive Changes

China Aviation Oil Corporation Ltd, or CAO, has appointed Felipe Arbelaez as a non-executive, non-independent director. He replaces Mr. Alan Haywood as a BP-Nominee Director of CAO who has assumed a new role within the BP group. Mr. Felipe Arbelaez has also been appointed as the Chairman of the Risk Management Committee and a member of the Audit Committee, replacing Mr. Alan Haywood from same date. Currently, Mr. Arbelaez is the Chief Commercial Officer- Integrated Supply & Trading at BP p.l.c. London where he is responsible for management and origination of long-term business in the gas and LNG markets.

China Aviation Oil (Singapore) Corporation Ltd. announced that Mr. Lin Wanli has been appointed as a Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director and Chairman of the Board of CAO in place of Mr. Sun Li with effect from August 11, 2015. Mr. Sun Li has retired as Chairman of China National Aviation Fuel Group Corporation upon reaching the mandatory retirement age. Mr. Lin is currently a Board member and Party Secretary of CNAF.

China Aviation Oil Reports Earnings Results for the Second Quarter and First Half Year Ended June 30, 2015

China Aviation Oil reported earnings results for the second quarter and first half year ended June 30, 2015. The company reported a 0.24% year-on-year rise in net profit to $17.79 million for the second quarter ended June 30. Revenue slumped 35.8% to $2.52 billion in line with lower oil prices, but a slight fall in cost of sales and lower expenses helped to shore up the bottom line. Earnings per share came to 2.07 cents, close to the 2.06 cents reported in second quarter of fiscal year 2014. For the first half of the year, net profit was 14.1% lower year-on-year at $32.14 million, while revenue fell about 42% to $4.61 billion.
