Its loan portfolio includes short-term and long-term loans on a secured and unsecured basis for business and personal purposes; and real estate, commercial/industrial, agricultural, consumer, and tax exempt loans. The company also provides safe deposit box services, personal and corporate trust services, brokerage services, cash management, private banking, and financial planning services, as well as electronic banking services, including mobile banking, and internet banking. It operates 20 full-service financial centers in Brown, Door, Kewaunee, and Outagamie counties in Northeast Wisconsin. Baylake Corp. was founded in 1876 and is headquartered in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin.

Net interest income after provision for loan losses increased to $7.76 million for the first quarter of 2015 compared to $7.59 million for the first quarter of 2014, reflecting both total interest income growth and a 26% reduction in total interest expense when compared to the first quarter of 2014. Return on average assets was 0.90% compared to 0.88% in the first quarter of 2014. Return on average equity was 8.39% compared to 8.87% for the three months ended March 31, 2014. Book value per share was $11.76 at March 31, 2015. Income before income taxes was $3.075 million against $2.838 million a year ago. Net interest income was $7.962 million against $7.590 million a year ago. first quarter results demonstrated balanced revenue contributions from an expanded line of products and services in commercial banking, treasury services, and wealth management.
