bonterra resources inc (BTR) Key Developments

BonTerra Resources Inc. Provides Update on Gladiator Project

BonTerra Resources Inc. provided an update on the newly-named Gladiator Project in the Urban-Barry Greenstone Belt of the Abitibi Subprovince in Quebec. Upon examination of core at the site visit, it was determined that further analysis on the existing core is required, specifically, the host rock between the high-grade veins. This will accomplish a better understanding of the host rock between the high-grade veins. This knowledge will aid in the company's approach to exploration and update/enhance the block model which will help envision future mining scenarios. Therefore, an old core-cutting and analysis program will be implemented. In addition to the old core-cutting program, re-assay results of two diamond drill holes within the main zone (BA12-09 and BA12-11), now called the Spartacus Trend located on the West Arena Property, are still pending. Re-assay is needed for BA12-09 and BA12-11 to comply with QA/QC protocols. Mineral resource estimates are reported in the 2011 Snowden 43-101 Technical Report.

BonTerra Resources Inc. Appoints Dale Ginn as Director

BonTerra Resources Inc. announced the appointment of Mr. Dale Ginn as a Director of the company effective immediately. He is currently the Vice-President of Kerr Mines Inc. and Chief Executive Officer of SGX Resources Inc. and was a founder of San Gold Corporation and Chief Executive Officer until 2010.

BonTerra Resources Inc. Receives Additional Results from 2012 Drilling

BonTerra Resources Inc. has submitted samples from three drill holes to ALS Laboratories in Val d'Or, Quebec from the company's Eastern Extension Property. Two of these three holes were drilled into the Peninsula Zone to extend continuity of mineral resources, while the final hole was drilled at the newly emerging Rivage Trend. Of the three holes, only hole BA12-07 is reported. Results for holes BA12-09 and BA12-11 are still pending as reassaying of its existing core is needed to comply with QA/QC protocols. One of the key targets for both holes BA12-07 and BA12-09 is a high-grade quartz vein/structure. BA12-07 returned values of 3.07 g/t Au over 5.0 m, which included 10.75 g/t Au over 1.0 m. The hole intersected the main NE-SW gold bearing structure identified by Bonterra during previous drilling campaigns, as expected. This hole is 120.0 meters along strike from BA11-23 and BA11-26, which returned similar values. This intercept is associated with a sheared felsic intrusives with numerious quartz-pyrite-tourmaline veinlets.
