Boston Properties Inc. announced unaudited consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015. For the quarter, the company reported total revenue of $618,476,000 compared to $574,694,000 a year ago. Operating income was $206,209,000 compared to $176,897,000 a year ago. Net income attributable to the company was $173,771,000 compared to $56,623,000 a year ago. Net income attributable to the company common shareholders was $171,182,000 or $1.11 per diluted share compared to $54,034,000 or $0.35 per diluted share a year ago. Funds from operations (FFO) attributable to the operating partnership was $223,733,000 compared to $204,039,000 a year ago. Funds from operations attributable to the company was $200,385,000 compared to $183,844,000 a year ago. FFO per share diluted was $1.30 compared to $1.20 a year ago. The company has updated its guidance for FFO per share (diluted) for full year 2015 to $5.35 - $5.45 per share from $5.28 - $5.43 per share. The updated guidance reflects, when compared to the company’s prior guidance, an increase from the first quarter 2015 results of $0.07 per share, an increase in net operating income from the company’s property portfolio of $0.02 per share, offset by a decrease in FFO of $0.05 per share from lower capitalized interest. The company expects diluted EPS in the range from $2.43 to $2.53. For the second quarter of 2015, the company expects diluted EPS in the range from $0.43 to $0.45 and diluted FFO per share in the range from $1.32 to $1.34.
