Bell Copper Corporation Auditor Raises 'Going Concern' Doubt

Bell Copper Corporation filed its Annual on Apr 30, 2014 for the period ending Dec 31, 2013. In this report its auditor, Meyers Norris Penny LLP - MNP LLP, gave an unqualified opinion expressing doubt that the company can continue as a going concern.

Bell Copper Corporation Extends Agreement with Newmont Realty Company

Bell Copper Corporation announced that the company has completed an agreement with Newmont Realty Company extending the company's mineral sublease on the Kabba porphyry copper project through October 31, 2025. The mineral sublease includes a right to extend the lease for an additional 10-year period under the same terms and conditions, and a right to extend the lease for yet another 5-year period under the same terms and conditions. Should all extensions be utilized, the company would control the subleased mineral estate at Kabba through October 31, 2040. Bell will pay advance royalties at the same rate that it has been paying since initiation of the original sublease in 2005, subject to a 20% increase on November 1, 2020 and thereafter. A Net Smelter Return Royalty paid on any future mineral production would be at the rate originally negotiated in 2005. The NSR Royalty is subject to an optional cash buydown by the company.
