BBA Aviation plc provides aviation and aftermarket support services worldwide. It operates in two segments, Flight Support and Aftermarket Services. The Flight Support segment provides specialist on-airport support services, including refuelling and ground handling to the owners and operators of private, business, and commercial aircraft. This segment’s flight support services comprise refueling services for business and commercial aviation industries, as well as hangar and office rentals, and other technical services; ground handling services, including baggage handling and ramp, equipment maintenance, and cleaning services; facilities and support services for crew and passengers, and passenger handling services for commercial flights; de-icing technology and equipment; and fuel facility management services. The Aftermarket Services segment manufactures, maintains, and supports engines and aerospace components, sub-systems, and systems. This segment’s aftermarket services and systems consist of engine repair and overhaul (ERO) services for business and general aviation fleet, as well as engines used in government, military, and commercial aircraft; in field ERO services; licensed legacy products for the aerospace OEMs; and aerospace component, system, and sub-system support services. The company was founded in 1879 and is headquartered in London, the United Kingdom.

BBA Aviation plc Declares Dividend on 5% Cumulative Preference Shares for the Half Year to January 31, 2015, Payable on February 1, 2015

BBA Aviation plc announced that a dividend has been declared for the half year to January 31, 2015 of 2.5 pence per share payable to holders of the 5% cumulative preference shares of £1 each. The relevant dates relating to this dividend payment are record date of January 2, 2015 and payment date of February 1, 2015.

BBA Aviation plc Announces Completion of Issue of US Private Placement Loan Notes

BBA Aviation plc announced the successful completion of an issue of US private placement loan notes with institutional investors. The issue consists of $200 million of senior notes with maturities of 7, 10 and 12 years and coupons of between 3.7% and 4.2%. The notes have a weighted average maturity of 9.8 years and weighted average coupon of 4.0%. The initial offering of $100 million was more than four times oversubscribed. The proceeds are being used to repay drawings under the Group's existing committed bank facilities. Half of the proceeds have been swapped from fixed into variable rates.

BBA Aviation plc Announces Interim Management Statement for the Period 1 July to 17 November 2014

BBA Aviation plc announced interim management statement for the period 1 July to 17 November 2014. Overall Group trading was broadly in line with expectations with Group revenue 5% higher than the prior year and up 5% on an organic basis (excluding the impact of exchange rates, fuel prices, acquisitions and disposals). Revenue in Flight Support grew by 14% and by 8% on an organic basis.  The market recovery in business and general aviation (B&GA) in North America has continued with movements up 4% year to date.  B&GA movements in Europe are down 1% year to date and commercial movements remain weak with a decline of 2% in North America and flat in Europe. In Aftermarket Services revenue was flat, excluding the impact of the APPH disposal at the beginning of the year. In Engine Repair and Overhaul (ERO) the on-going footprint rationalisation is proceeding to plan with the ground breaking for the new engine repair and test facility in early October. Total capital expenditure for the year is expected to be around 2x depreciation and amortisation, including Signature's large development projects at London Luton, which is due to become operational in early 2017, and at San Jose, which is due to be completed by the end of 2015. Trading cash flows have followed the usual seasonal pattern and the Group's balance sheet remains strong.
