Boralex Closes an Amount of CAD 257 Million for 15-Year Non-Recourse Term Loan Facility

Boralex Inc. announced that the long-term project financing (the Financing) associated with the Transaction has also closed for an amount of CAD 257 million for a 15-year non-recourse term loan facility, at an attractive, all-in rate of approximately 3% per year. Due to favourable market conditions, the size of the Financing was increased by CAD 3 million. The Financing was arranged and underwritten by BNP Paribas SA. BNP has also committed to increase its term loan by CAD 36 million upon realization of certain conditions by Boralex during the twelve-month period post Transaction closing.

Boralex Inc. Declares Quarterly Dividend, Payable on December 15, 2014; Reports Unaudited Consolidated Earnings Results for the Third Quarter and Nine Months Ended September 30, 2014; Announces Production Results for the Third Quarter of 2014

The board of directors of Boralex Inc. has declared a quarterly dividend of $0.13 per common share. This dividend will be paid on December 15, 2014 to shareholders of record at the close of business on November 28, 2014. The company reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended September 30, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported revenues from energy sales was $42.9 million compared to $28.7 million a year ago. EBITDA was $23.3 million compared to $13.2 million a year ago. Net loss was $9.2 million or $0.24 basic per share compared to $7.6 million or $0.20 basic per share a year ago. Adjusted cash flows from operations were $7.6 million or $0.20 basic per share compared to $2.9 million or $0.08 basic per share a year ago. Cash flows from operations totaled $7.6 million or $0.20 per share compared to $2.9 million or $0.08 per share last year. For the nine months, the company reported revenues from energy sales was $172.2 million compared to $119.5 million a year ago. EBITDA was $107.2 million compared to $70.5 million a year ago. Net loss was $5.6 million or $0.15 basic per share compared to $4.7 million or $0.12 basic per share a year ago. Adjusted cash flows from operations were $56.3 million or $1.47 basic per share compared to $35.1 million or $0.93 basic per share a year ago. Cash flows from operations were up by 60% and amount to $56.3 million or $1.47 per share. For the third quarter of 2014, in comparison with 2013, the company reports a 48% increase in production. Total power production increased by 36% explained by the fact that Senneterre, following the signing of it's amended contract, operated for 1 additional month in third quarter of this year in comparison to last year.
