The company was formerly known as Meinl European Land Limited and changed its name to Atrium European Real Estate Limited in August 2008. Atrium European Real Estate Limited was founded in 1997 and is based in St. Helier, the Channel Islands.

Atrium European Real Estate Limited Reports Consolidated Earnings Results for the Six Months Ended June 30, 2015

Atrium European Real Estate Limited reported consolidated earnings results for the six months ended June 30, 2015. For the period, gross rental income was EUR 103.6 million against EUR 106.9 million a year ago, with an EPRA like-for-like GRI of EUR 88.1 million against EUR 96.5 million a year ago. Net rental was EUR 97.9 million against EUR 103.1 million a year ago, with an EPRA like- for-like NRI of EUR 83.7 million against EUR 95.1 million a year ago. Company adjusted EPRA earnings per share was 16.0 cents against 19.2 cents a year ago. EPRA net asset value per ordinary share was EUR 5.92. EBITDA, excluding revaluation and disposals, was EUR 81.3 million against EUR 90.3 million a year ago. Profit after taxation was EUR 10.0 million against EUR 36.2 million a year ago. The change was mainly caused by: A lower NRI of EUR 5.2 million, and an increase of EUR 6.5 million in non-recurring legacy legal and administrative expenses; EUR 10.6 million charge from the disposal of non-core assets in the Czech Republic mainly as a result of a reclassification of a currency translations reserve; A EUR 20.9 million increase in finance expenses (mainly related to bond buyback costs, the early repayment of a bank loan in Poland, higher interest expenses due to the bond issuance and foreign exchange differences); The above items were partially offset by, a higher deferred tax credit of EUR 14.3 million, mainly related to a release of deferred tax liability on certain Polish assets following a Polish holdings restructuring net of an increase in the Groups Russian deferred tax liability.
