The company was formerly known as Meinl European Land Limited and changed its name to Atrium European Real Estate Limited in August 2008. Atrium European Real Estate Limited was founded in 1997 and is based in St. Helier, the Channel Islands.

Atrium European Real Estate Limited Announces Earnings Results for the First Quarter Ended 31 March 2015

Atrium European Real Estate Limited announced earnings results for the first quarter ended 31 March 2015. Gross rental income was EUR 51.8 million compared to EUR 52.8 million, with an EPRA like-for-like GRI of EUR 44.0 million compared to EUR 48.5 million a year ago. Net rental income EUR 49.0 million compared to EUR 51 million, with an EPRA like-for-like GRI of EUR 42.0 million compared to EUR 48.4 million a year ago. The main driver behind the decrease in income was the temporary discounts agreed with tenants in the Group's Russian portfolio, which have been granted to protect occupancy levels during the on-going difficult economic situation. Excluding Russia, the Group's NRI increased by 7.8% and like-for-like EPRA NRI was flat. EBITDA, excluding revaluation and disposals, decreased by 8.0% to EUR 41.1 million compared to EUR 44.7 million a year ago. Profit before taxation was EUR 11.1 million compared to EUR 27.9 million for the first three months of 2014. The change was mainly caused by a EUR 2.0 million decrease in NRI, non-cash foreign exchange loss of EUR 12.4 million (including reclassification of a currency translations reserve), compared to a EUR 9.3 million gain in the first three months of 2014, partially offset by the lower EUR 4.4 million devaluation result compared to EUR 16.0 million devaluation in the first three months of 2014. Company adjusted EPRA earnings per share decreased by 13.8% to 8.1 cents compared to 9.4 cents a year ago. EPRA Net asset value per ordinary share remained relatively constant at EUR 6.06.
