In addition, it owns, operates, and maintains a hydropower plant; fabricates electrical equipment; manufactures power generation equipment and oil transformers; manages toll operations; maintains highways; and provides management services. The company was formerly known as AMDB Berhad and changed its name to Amcorp Properties Berhad in 2010. The company was founded in 1965 and is based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Amcorp Properties Berhad operates as a subsidiary of Amcorp Group Berhad.

Amcorp Properties Berhad reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the third quarter and nine months ended December 31, 2014. For the quarter, the company reported profit before taxation of MYR 6,889,000, profit attributable to owners of the parent was MYR 5,881,000 or 0.80 sen diluted per share on revenue of MYR 39,639,000 against profit before taxation of MYR 3,662,000,000, profit attributable to owners of the parent was MYR 22,485,000 or 3.88 sen diluted per share on revenue of MYR 59,691,000 for the same period a year ago. Operating profit was MYR 10,949,000 against MYR 2,703,000 a year ago. For the nine months, the company reported profit before taxation of MYR 34,058,000, profit attributable to owners of the parent was MYR 30,583,000 or 4.83 sen diluted per share on revenue of MYR 124,749,000 against profit before taxation of MYR 16,948,000, profit attributable to owners of the parent was MYR 36,491,000 or 6.31 sen diluted per share on revenue of MYR 116,132,000 for the same period a year ago. Net cash inflow from operating activities was MYR 59,437,000 against MYR 10,409,000 for the same period a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was MYR 5,465,000 against MYR 84,453,000 for the same period a year ago. Operating profit was MYR 37,888,000 against MYR 4,165,000 a year ago. For the quarter, the company's revenue was MYR 44,396,000 compared to MYR 23,905,000 a year ago. Operating profit was MYR 11,293,000 compared to operating loss of MYR 3,693,000 a year ago. Profit before taxation was MYR 8,654,000 compared to MYR 1,606,000 a year ago. Profit was MYR 7,556,000 compared to MYR 2,682,000 a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of the parent was MYR 7,034,000 or 1.20 sen per diluted share compared to MYR 2,774,000 or 0.48 sen per diluted share a year ago. The profit before taxation was mainly contributed by Malaysia properties of MYR 5.0 million and gain on disposal of associated company, Augustland Sdn Bhd of MYR 5.3 million. For the six months, the company's revenue was MYR 85,110,000 compared to MYR 56,440,000 a year ago. Operating profit was MYR 26,939,000 compared to MYR 1,462,000 a year ago. Profit before taxation was MYR 27,169,000 compared to MYR 13,286,000 a year ago. Profit was MYR 25,223,000 compared to MYR 13,886,000 a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of the parent was MYR 24,702,000 or 4.23 sen per diluted share compared to MYR 14,005,000 or 2.43 sen per diluted share a year ago. Net cash inflow from operating activities was MYR 31,521,000 compared to MYR 11,962,000 a year ago. Purchase of property, plant and equipment was MYR 858,000 compared to MYR 82,070,000 a year ago. The Board expects sales from overseas and Malaysia property projects to contribute positively to the Group's earnings. Amcorp Properties Berhad announced the re-designation of Shalina Azman from Deputy Chairman to Chairman, effective from October 31, 2014. Puan Shalina first gained invaluable experience in the media industry when she was a Business Development Officer with RCE Capital Berhad in 1990. From 1995 to 1999, she was with Amcorp Group Berhad as Senior Manager, Corporate Planning.
