The company offers design, engineering, logistics, procurement, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance, fuel management, security, and bridging power services through its turnkey approach. It also provides customized design solutions; peak shaving solutions to prevent power outages; emergency power generation services; distributed generation of electricity to a city or region where the delivery of electricity is restricted; grid optimization and stabilization projects that incorporate distributed generation solutions at substations, as well as release capacity on the transmission grid; and power supply to industrial companies and military facilities. The company’s solutions are used in a range of applications, including supplemental baseload capacity, disaster relief, seasonal peak shaving, backup for scheduled or unscheduled outages, dedicated industrial power, and grid stability and support. Its fleet includes mobile gas turbines, and diesel and natural gas power modules. The company serves approximately 25 million people. It has strategic partnership with GE and CAT. APR Energy plc announced consolidated earnings results for the six months ended June 30, 2015. For the period, the company reported revenue was $122.2 million against $254.2 million a year ago. Operating loss was $45.2 million against profit of $54.7 million a year ago. Loss before taxation was $58.4 million against profit of $54.3 million a year ago. Loss for the year was $64.5 million against profit of $47.2 million a year ago. Diluted loss per share was 68.4 cents against profit of 49.4 cents a year ago. Net cash from operating activities was $18.5 million against $143.6 million a year ago. Purchases of property, plant and equipment was $68.9 million against $95 million a year ago. Adjusted operating loss was $21.0 million against profit of $71.9 million a year ago. Adjusted loss before taxation was $34.2 million against profit of $59.1 million a year ago. Adjusted loss for the year was $40.3 million against profit of $52 million a year ago. Adjusted diluted loss per share was $0.43 against profit of $0.54 a year ago. Adjusted EBITDA was $48.3 million against $141.7 million a year ago. The group ended the period with net debt of $602 million, up from $546 million from the first half of 2014. The company did not declare a dividend at June 30, 2015 related to its interim financial results compared to $5.3 million at 3.3 pence per share in 2014.

APR Energy plc Signs Six-Month Contract Extension for Guatemala Project

APR Energy plc, announced that it has signed an extension for its 16MW power project supporting a mining customer in Guatemala. APR Energy's mobile diesel generators have served as the sole power source for the crucial operations of the mine, which operates independently from the local grid system. The project, which began in January 2013, now is contracted to run into the first quarter of 2016.
