Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited, together with its subsidiaries, provides healthcare services in India and internationally. The company’s healthcare facilities include primary, secondary, and tertiary care facilities. Its tertiary care hospitals provide care in approximately 50 specialties, including cardiac sciences, oncology, neurosciences, critical care, orthopedics, radiology, gastroenterology, and transplants, as well as offer technology based treatments in the areas of minimally invasive surgeries, robotics, and technologies for cancer. The company also offers pre-commissioning consultancy services, such as feasibility studies, infrastructure planning, design and advisory, human resource planning, and recruitment and training services, as well as medical equipment planning, sourcing, and installation services; and post-commissioning consultancy services, including management contracts, franchising, and technical consultation. In addition, it provides medical and paramedical services comprising doctor’s consultation and physiotherapy direct to patient homes, as well as offers paramedical services in hospitals to critically ill patients; and operates stand-alone pharmacies, dialysis clinics, poly clinics, diagnostic centers, day care surgery centers, cosmetic surgical centers, and dental clinics. Further, the company provides healthcare insurance services, and telemedicine and research services; and conducts education and training programs. As of May 28, 2015, it operated 55 hospitals with 9,200 beds; 1,822 retail pharmacies; 106 primary care and diagnostic clinics; 100 telemedicine units; 15 colleges of nursing and hospital management; and 1 research foundation. Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited was founded in 1979 and is headquartered in Chennai, India.

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Seeks To Raise Funds

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Ltd. (NSEI:APOLLOHOSP) will raise up to INR 10 billion through a rights issue and private equity investment to expand its hospital network and specialty clinics across the country. Apollo Hospitals Enterprise plans to complete fund-raising in the next few months. “We plan to raise up to INR 500 crore through a rights issue for expansion of hospitals and another about INR 500 crore from private equity investors for the clinics,” said Sangita Reddy, joint Managing Director of Apollo Hospitals Group.
