eagle graphite inc (APMFF) Key Developments

Eagle Graphite Achieves Spheronized Graphite Purity of 99.995%

Eagle Graphite Incorporated announced that a sample of 99.995% pure spheronized graphite has been produced using flake graphite from the processing plant of the Black Crystal project. Highly purified graphite is required for a number of advanced applications, including lithium ion (Li-Ion) batteries. Typical Li-Ion battery specifications demand a minimum purity of 99.95%. Purification was carried out using a method that does not make use of either hydrofluoric acid (HF), or caustic (NaOH), both of which are highly toxic substances. HF- and NaOH-based purification methods are widely criticised due to safety and environmental concerns. The commencement of exploration work in the plant area was announced on April 30, 2015, and preliminary results are expected in the third quarter of 2015.

Eagle Graphite Incorporated Initiates 2015 Exploration Program on its Plant Site

Eagle Graphite Incorporated has initiated the 2015 exploration program on its plant site, located 35 kilometres west of Nelson, British Columbia, Canada. The company intends to explore a significant portion of its 200 hectare plant lease, including the location known as the “Beau Zone”. This flake graphite prospect was discovered in 2002 at an outcrop exposure above Koch Creek, approximately 100 metres from the graphite processing plant, followed by a further discovery of graphite mineralization in an electrical grounding drill hole drilled adjacent to the plant. In the subsequent seven diamond drill hole program, also conducted in 2002, a graphite zone was transected in five of the holes. The company is now resuming the exploration work at the plant area. Planned activities between now and June 2015 include surface trenching and diamond drilling, making continuous refinements to the program as new information becomes available.

Eagle Graphite Incorporated Receives Quarry Permit for its Black Crystal Flake Graphite Deposit Near Nelson BC from the Province of British Columbia Ministry of Energy and Mines

Eagle Graphite Incorporated has received a permit from the Province of British Columbia Ministry of Energy and Mines approving the work system and reclamation program planned for its Black Crystal flake graphite deposit near Nelson BC. The Quarry Permit includes the Hoder Creek Quarry allowance for haul road access, waste and product stockpiles; and exploration of the "Bo Zone" adjacent to the Processing Plant. The Quarry Permit is the material permitting requirement that would allow Eagle to move forward in reactivating the Hoder Creek Quarry and Processing Plant should the requisite financing be available. The Quarry Permit and corresponding conceptual production schedule approved by the Ministry of Energy and Mines was based on a conceptual mine plan submitted by management of Eagle and was not based on a feasibility study or economic assessment.
