Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited, together with its subsidiaries, provides healthcare services primarily in India and Mauritius. The company’s healthcare facilities include primary, secondary, and tertiary care facilities. Its tertiary care hospitals provide care in approximately 50 specialties, including cardiac sciences, oncology, neurosciences, critical care, orthopedics, radiology, gastroenterology, and transplants, as well as offer technology based treatments in the areas of minimally invasive surgeries, robotics, and technologies for cancer. The company also offers pre-commissioning consultancy services, such as feasibility studies, infrastructure planning, design and advisory, human resource planning, and recruitment and training services, as well as medical equipment planning, sourcing, and installation services; and post-commissioning consultancy services, including management contracts, franchising, and technical consultation. In addition, it provides medical and paramedical services, including doctor’s consultation and physiotherapy direct to patient homes, as well as offers paramedical services in hospitals to critically ill patients; and operates stand-alone pharmacies, dialysis clinics, cosmetic surgical centers, and dental clinics. Further, the company provides healthcare insurance services, and telemedicine and research services; and conducts education and training programs. As of March 31, 2014, it operated 50 hospitals with 8,617 beds in India and internationally; and 1,632 retail pharmacies. The company also operates approximately 100 primary care and diagnostic clinics, 115 telemedicine units, 15 academic institutions, and 1 research foundation. Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited was founded in 1979 and is based in Chennai, India.

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited reported audited standalone earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended March 31, 2015 and audited consolidated earnings results for the year ended March 31, 2015. For the quarter, on standalone basis, reported total income of INR 12,036.9 million compared to INR 9,981.8 million a year ago. Profit from operations before other income, finance costs and exceptional items was INR 1,338.7 million compared to INR 1,169.3 million a year ago. Profit from ordinary activates before tax was INR 1,166.4 million compared to INR 1,030.2 million a year ago. Net profit was INR 773.3 million or INR 5.56 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items compared to INR 813.4 million or INR 5.85 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items a year ago. For the year, on standalone basis, reported total income of INR 45,927.9 million compared to INR 38,616.3 million a year ago. Profit from operations before other income, finance costs and exceptional items was INR 5,200.4 million compared to INR 4,847.8 million a year ago. Profit from ordinary activates before tax was INR 4,673.3 million compared to INR 4,201.7 million a year ago. Net profit was INR 3,465.9 million or INR 24.91 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items compared to INR 3,307.2 million or INR 23.77 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items a year ago. For the year, on consolidated basis, reported total income of INR 51,784.5 million compared to INR 43,842.2 million a year ago. Profit from operations before other income, finance costs and exceptional items was INR 5,230.1 million compared to INR 5,046.2 million a year ago. Profit from ordinary activates before tax was INR 4,272.2 million compared to INR 4,067.1 million a year ago. Net profit was INR 3,254.1 million or INR 24.43 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items compared to INR 3,049.5 million or INR 22.77 per basic and diluted share before and after extraordinary items a year ago.

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited Recommends a Dividend for the Financial Year Ended March 31, 2015, Payable on or before August 25, 2015

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited announced that the board of directors of the company at its meeting held on May 28, 2015 has recommended a dividend of INR 5.75 per share (115% of the face value of the share) for the financial year ended March 31, 2015, on the paid up equity capital of the company. The dividend, if declared, will be paid on or before August 25, 2015.
