Anite plc provides mobile device, infrastructure, and network testing systems to the wireless market in the United Kingdom, the Americas, other Europe, the Middle East, African countries, and internationally. The company’s Handset Testing segment offers wireless test systems that enable manufacturers to design chipsets, mobile devices, and network equipment. Its solutions comprise development toolset for testing various phases of wireless device development, including protocol module development, and systems integration and verification; conformance toolset to test the individual protocol stack layers in wireless devices; and interoperability testing solution for evaluating devices in the integration, interoperability, and carrier acceptance testing phases. This segment also offers Propsim radio channel emulation solution to develop and test wireless equipment; Triton, a wireless network testing solution that enables mobile operators and network equipment manufacturers to diagnose network issues and validate network performance; and LTE performance testing services. Its Network Testing segment provides various products under the Nemo brand, which enables network operators and equipment manufacturers to measure networks coverage and quality. Its solutions comprise optimization solution that offers measurement, troubleshooting, and maintenance tools for indoor or outside network lifecycle stages; monitoring solution, which provides automated tools to monitor network and service quality in real-time; benchmark wireless network coverage tools and services for simultaneous testing of multiple devices; and analysis and reporting solution comprising analysis of drive test data with troubleshooting capabilities. Anite plc also offers travel software solutions and managed services. The company was formerly known as Anite Group plc and changed its name to Anite plc in 2007. Anite plc was founded in 1973 and is based in Fleet, the United Kingdom.

Anite to Provide 12 Nemo Invex Benchmarking Platforms for OSIPTEL

Anite announced that it has been selected to provide 12 Nemo Invex benchmarking platforms for OSIPTEL. The Peruvian Government will use the equipment to verify the performance of cellular operators' services throughout the country. OSIPTEL will use the products to verify and benchmark national operators' service levels, ensuring that the 2G/3G and 4G LTE networks meet the set national standards. Anite's Nemo solutions were selected due to the products' compliance with the technical requirements set by OSIPTEL coupled with a sound commercial proposal. Nemo Invex is a mobile benchmarking, measurement, and optimization system combining powerful intuitive software and scalable military grade hardware designed to create a superior benchmarking solution for wireless broadband networks.

China Telecom Selects Anite's Interoperability and Performance Test Solution SAS

Anite announced that China Telecom has selected Anite's interoperability and performance test solution - SAS - for LTE data throughput testing. China Telecom will use the solution as a key part of its LTE device acceptance programme. SAS supports the China Telecom approved test plan which consists of two LTE data throughput packages totaling over 200 scripts. These scripts allow China Telecom and any device manufacturer in their ecosystem to ensure that new devices perform as expected on their mobile network. China Telecom also uses Anite's Conformance Toolset as their primary platform for conformance testing enabling them to run a wide range of pre-qualification test scripts from a single platform, leading to accelerated product releases. When a mobile operator and device manufacturer use SAS together to run approved mobile operator test plans, more consistent results can be achieved. Devices can be tested more accurately and rigorously through straightforward replication of a wide range of test scenarios specified by the mobile operator. This means reduced risk of device rejection and accelerated time to market. Lab-based device testing is quicker, more reliable and more cost-effective than device testing conducted solely in the field.

Anite and Technology Laboratory CTTL-Terminals Collaborate to Accelerate LTE and LTE-Advanced MIMO OTA Testing

Anite announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with China Telecommunication Technology Labs - terminals (CTTL-Terminals). The collaboration will make use of Anite's Propsim channel emulators for advanced MIMO OTA testing to help device manufacturers and mobile operators verify the actual performance of future mobile devices. In MIMO OTA testing, a channel emulator creates realistic RF conditions within an anechoic or a reverberation chamber where the MIMO capable device is tested without any connected cables. The development of MIMO OTA systems will also help Chinese operators in their device selection process by enabling efficient benchmarking of MIMO capable products, further enhancing end-user experience. CTTL-Terminals will benefit from Anite's future-proof Propsim F32 channel emulator which offers more than twice the emulation capacity compared to other products on the market. This makes it a cost-effective, integrated test solution for verifying the actual performance of Carrier Aggregation capable LTE-Advanced devices. Anite's channel emulators are already compliant with CTIA, CCSA, 3GPP and major mobile operator acceptance test plans. Under this agreement the parties will collaborate to develop MIMO OTA methodologies for Carrier Aggregation MIMO OTA, 3D MIMO OTA testing, virtual drive MIMO OTA testing, MIMO OTA with multi-cell handover and interference, as well as device-to-device testing.
