Ashford Hospitality Trust Inc. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results and operating results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2015. The company reported total revenue of $250,235,000, operating income of $32,105,000, income from continuing operations before income taxes of $368,762,000, income from continuing operations of $367,937,000, and net income attributable to common shareholders of $313,006,000 or $3.12 per diluted share against total revenue of $194,861,000, operating income of $26,393,000, loss from continuing operations before income taxes of $6,571,000, loss from continuing operations of $6,787,000, and net loss attributable to common shareholders of $10,878,000 or $0.13 per diluted share a year ago. Net income attributable to the company was $321,496,000 against net loss attributable to the company of $2,388,000 a year ago. EBITDA was $459,303,000 against $78,246,000 a year ago. Adjusted EBITDA was $89,351,000 against $79,541,000 a year ago. FFO available to common shareholders was $24,575,000 against $23,981,000 a year ago. Adjusted FFO available to common shareholders was $34,005,000 or $0.30 per diluted share against $24,792,000 or $0.25 per diluted share a year ago. Capex invested in the quarter was $35.3 million. Pro forma RevPAR increased 8.5% to $110.69 for all hotels on a 5.5% increase in ADR and a 2.8% increase in occupancy. Pro forma RevPAR increased 9.9% to $111.77 for hotels not under renovation on a 5.9% increase in ADR and a 3.8% increase in occupancy. Diluted income from continuing operations attributable to common stockholders was $3.12 against diluted loss from continuing operations attributable to common stockholders of $0.13 a year ago. For the first quarter ended March 31, 2015, the company reported impairment charges of $106,000 against $101,000 a year ago.
