Argan, Inc., through its subsidiaries, provides a range of development, consulting, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, operations, and maintenance services to the power generation and renewable energy markets. The company operates through Power Industry Services and Telecommunications Infrastructure Services segment. The Power Industry Services segment offers design, construction, start-up, and operation services for approximately 76 facilities representing 11,000 megawatts of power-generating capacity; and engineering, procurement, and construction contracting services to the owners of alternative energy facilities, including biomass plants, wind farms, and solar fields. This segment serves public utilities, independent power project owners, municipalities, public institutions, and private industry. The Telecommunications Infrastructure Services segment provides outside plant and inside plant cabling services, including structuring, cabling, terminations, and connectivity that provide the physical transport for high speed data, voice, video, and security networks; and trenchless directional boring and excavation for underground communication and power networks; aerial cabling services; and the installation of buried cable, high and low voltage electric lines, and private area outdoor lighting systems. It also offers a range of inside plant and premises wiring services consisting of AutoCAD design; cable installation; equipment room, and telecom closet design and build-out; data rack and cabinet installation; raceway design and installation; and cable identification, testing, labeling, and documentation services for copper, fiber optic, and coax cable systems. This segment serves the federal government, local governments, telecommunications, and broadband service providers, as well as electric utilities primarily in the mid-Atlantic region. Argan, Inc. was founded in 1961 and is headquartered in Rockville, Maryland.

Argan, Inc. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the fourth quarter and year ended January 31, 2015. For the three months ended January 31, 2015, consolidated revenues were $102.3 million compared to $59.5 million for the three months ended January 31, 2014. The company reported consolidated EBITDA attributable to the stockholders of the company of $11.9 million compared to $15.8 million in the fourth quarter of last fiscal year. Income from operations was $15.5 million, compared to income from operations of $16.4 million for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2014. The company reported net income attributable to the company stockholders of $6.0 million, or $0.40 per diluted share compared to net income of $9.2 million, or $0.63 per diluted share for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2014. Income before income taxes $15.61 million compared to $16.492 million a year ago. For the year ended January 31, 2015, revenues were $383.1 million compared to $227.5 million for the year ended January 31, 2014. The company reported consolidated EBITDA attributable to the stockholders of the company of $52.2 million compared to $66.3 million for the prior fiscal year. Income from operations for fiscal 2015 was $64.1 million compared to income from operations for fiscal 2014 of $65.9 million. Net income attributable to the stockholders of the company for fiscal 2015 was $30.4 million, or $2.05 per diluted share compared to $40.1 million, or $2.78 per diluted share for fiscal 2014. Argan, Inc. Announces Executive Changes, Effective from January 2, 2015

On December 11, 2014, Argan, Inc. entered into an employment agreement, effective as of January 2, 2015, with Cynthia Flanders covering the terms of her employment as the company's Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. The executive will replace the company's long serving Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Arthur F. Trudel, who is retiring on January 1, 2015. The executive is also a current member of the company's board of directors and will continue to serve in such capacity.
