The Private Label Services and Credit segment offers credit card processing, billing and payment processing, customer care, and collections services for private label retailers, as well as private label retail credit card and loan receivables financing, including securitization of the credit card receivables that it underwrites from its private label retail credit card programs. This segment also designs and implements strategies that assist its clients in acquiring, retaining, and managing repeat customers. The company facilitates and manages interactions between its clients and their customers through various consumer marketing channels, including in-store, online, email, social media, mobile, direct mail, and telephone. It serves financial services, specialty retail, grocery and drugstore chains, petroleum retail, automotive, hospitality and travel, telecommunications, insurance, and healthcare markets. Alliance Data Systems Corporation Partners with Wayfair

Alliance Data Systems Corporation announced its Columbus, Ohio-based card services business, a premier provider of branded private label, co-brand, and commercial credit programs, has signed a new multi-year agreement to provide private label credit card services for Wayfair. Alliance Data will develop a tailored card program for Wayfair, featuring one credit card that can be used for purchases at all five brands' websites. Alliance Data will align the card program with the Wayfair customer experience and will develop a customized credit-based loyalty program to recognize and reward cardmembers, including reward dollars for purchases that can be applied to future purchases at any Wayfair brand. Alliance Data's innovative digital acquisition tools will integrate seamlessly into the Wayfair customer experience, welcoming new customers to the program. Wayfair also will have access to Alliance Data's full suite of mobile solutions, as well as its unmatched customer insights and analytics to develop an even deeper understanding of its shoppers.

Toyota Selects Alliance Data to Launch New Private Label Credit Cards for Toyota and Lexus Brands, Manage and Grow Existing Co-Brand Credit Card Program

Alliance Data Systems Corporation announced its card services business, a premier provider of branded private label, co-brand, and commercial credit programs, has signed a new long-term agreement to provide private label credit card services and assume management of an existing co-brand card program in the U.S. for Toyota. Additionally, Alliance Data has entered into an agreement to purchase Toyota's existing portfolio of co-brand credit card accounts, subject to regulatory approval and customary closing conditions. Details of the purchase price were not disclosed, other than to note it is well within norms of the industry. The goal of this new partnership with Alliance Data is to further evolve its credit tools into loyalty tools, which will drive incremental revenue to its dealerships.

Alliance Data Systems Corporation Introduces EMV-Based Co-Brand Credit Card Solution

Alliance Data Systems Corporation's card services business has introduced an EMV-based co-brand credit card solution with tap-and-pay functionality for its retail partners. The first of these dual-interface chip cards are co-branded with MasterCard and BJ's Wholesale Club and the Fuel Rewards program. With this new functionality, customers can pay for purchases by tapping their card on a contactless-enabled terminal, making payments simple, easy and fast. EMV – which stands for Europay, MasterCard and Visa – is a global standard for cards equipped with computer chips and the technology used to authenticate chip-card transactions. Retailers' EMV terminals require customers to insert their credit cards into a credit card slot at the bottom of the terminal, removing the card only after the transaction has been completed. How it works: the new tap-and-pay enabled credit cards feature the universal wave symbol – a series of semi-circles – on the front of the card. When customers see the same wave symbol on a payment terminal, they simply need to hold their credit card close to or on the symbol until the terminal indicates the card has been accepted. If a terminal does not feature tap-and-pay functionality, consumers can swipe or insert their credit card, depending on the type of terminal.
