Abertis Infraestructuras, S.A., together with its subsidiaries, engages in the management of mobility and telecommunications infrastructures in toll road concessions and telecommunications sectors in Spain and internationally. The company manages approximately 1,500 kilometers of toll roads in Spain; and approximately 1,700 kilometers of toll roads in the northwest of France, Normandie, and Aquitaine, as well as manages toll roads in Brazil, Puerto Rico, Chile, Argentina, and Colombia. It also owns the main site network for the broadcast and delivery of radio and television signals through centers for homes in Spain. The company’s broadcasting and transport network offers audiovisual services in analogue and digital television, and radio broadcasting; signal transport; network operation and maintenance services; mobile radio communications for public security and emergency networks; and telecommunications services for telephony operators. In addition, it owns and manages mobile telephony infrastructures. Further, the company is involved in the sale and lease of satellites, as well as their space capacity; and provision of technical consultancy services and integrated mobile telecommunication services. The company was formerly known as Acesa Infraestructuras, S.A. and changed its name to Abertis Infraestructuras, S.A. in May 2003. Abertis Infraestructuras, S.A. was incorporated in 1967 and is headquartered in Barcelona, Spain.

Abertis Infraestructuras S.A. Reports Consolidated Earnings Results for the First Quarter Ended March 2015

Abertis Infraestructuras S.A. reported consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended March 2015. For the quarter, revenues were EUR 1,163 million against EUR 1,095 million a year ago. EBITDA was EUR 729 million against EUR 686 million a year ago. EBIT was EUR 489 million against EUR 457 million a year ago. Profit before tax was EUR 230 million against EUR 206 million a year ago. Net attributable profit was EUR 133 million against EUR 125 million a year ago. Cash flow was EUR 467 million against EUR 444 million a year ago. Free cash flow was EUR 262 million against EUR 204 million a year ago. Revenues grew 6.2%, driven by the toll roads activity, the tariff revisions, and the growth of the telecommunications business and, to a lesser extent, the appreciation of the Chilean and Argentine Pesos and the Dollar. EBITDA grew 6.4% favored by the consolidation of the previous efficiencies plan and the start-up of the new plan. Operating CapEx stood at EUR 19 million, mostly as a result of investment in Brazil, while organic expansion CapEx amount to EUR 135 million, primarily driven by the CapEx program at Arteris Federals road, EUR 101 million, as well as by the satellite construction program at Hispasat. The quarter saw a EUR 616 million increase in net debt versus full year 2014 to EUR 14.4 billion.

OHL Concesiones, S.A. denies any plan to sell of OHL Mexico SAB De CV (BMV:OHLMEX *) to Abertis Infraestructuras S.A. (CATS:ABE). As per reports of Spanish online newpaper El Confidencial OHL and Abertis were in talks to acquire OHL Mexican Unit for €2.4 bllion.
