The company’s reinsurance products include property damage, marine cargo, hull, and miscellaneous non-marine classes. China Taiping Insurance Holdings Company Limited is also involved in pension business, assets management, E-commerce for insurance, insurance intermediaries, securities brokering and investments, property investment, and elderly care investment businesses, as well as provides back office services. The company operates primarily in Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China, Europe, Japan, and rest of Asia. It was formerly known as China Insurance International Holdings Company Limited and changed its name to China Taiping Insurance Holdings Company Limited in August 2009. The company was incorporated in 2000 and is based in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong. China Taiping Insurance Holdings Company Limited is a subsidiary of China Taiping Insurance Group (HK) Company Limited.
