Loss from operations was RMB 298,832,000 compared to RMB 511,764,000 for the same period a year ago. Loss before taxation was RMB 449,488,000 compared to RMB 660,998,000 for the same period a year ago. Loss for the year from continuing operations attributable to owners of the company was RMB 448,024,000 compared to RMB 667,666,000 for the same period a year ago. Loss for the year was RMB 269,549,000 compared to RMB 474,699,000 for the same period a year ago. EBITDA was RMB 428,716,000 compared to RMB 330,859,000 for the same period a year ago. Loss per share from continuing and discontinuing operations, basic and diluted was 16.0 cents compared to 45.1 cents for the same period a year ago. Loss per share from continuing operations, basic and diluted was 26.7 cents compared to 63.4 cents for the same period a year ago. The reduction in sales revenue was due to decrease in sales revenue of both fresh produce and processed products and branded food products and others. For the year ended 30 April 2015, loss attributable to the owners of the company was a result of improved in gross profit margin, less impairment loss in respect of property, plant and equipment and reduction in operating expenses.
