Japan Pulp and Paper Company Limited is engaged in the manufacture, distribution, sale, import, and export of papers, paperboards, pulp, paper-related products, and plastics worldwide. Its products include newsprints, printing papers, and communication papers; wrapping papers, container boards, folding box boards, and synthetic resins; converted paper base stocks, electrical insulating papers, base stocks for building materials, and core base stocks; electric component packaging materials, agricultural materials, and electric insulating materials; and household papers. The company also offers raw materials for paper production and fuel, including papermaking pulp, recovered papers, fuels, and waste plastics; and provides machinery ranging from printing, converting, and other paper-related machinery to hoisting, conveying, and associated logistics machinery. In addition, it distributes building materials, including building foundation materials, steel frames, lumber, plastic materials, exterior decorative materials, fire extinguisher and firefighting equipment, and others; and chemicals comprising hydrogen peroxide, caustic soda, corn starch, and others. Further, the company is involved in the recycling of waste papers, wooden wastes, and plastic waste materials into reusable resources and fuels, which include crepe papers, resin pellets, wooden biomass fuel pellets, and refuse paper and plastic fuels, as well as in real estate leasing activities. Japan Pulp and Paper Company Limited was founded in 1845 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
