China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited generates and sells wind and coal power in the People’s Republic of China. It is also involved in the trading of coal and other related businesses. The company operates in two segments, Wind Power and Coal Power. The company designs, develops, constructs, manages, and operates wind and coal power plants; and generates electric power for sale to external power grid companies. In addition, it operates other power projects, such as solar, biomass, tidal, and geothermal power. As of December 31, 2014, the company had an installed capacity of 15,697 megawatts. Further, it manufactures and sells power equipment, as well as provides consulting, maintenance, and training services to wind and other renewable power generation plants. The company was formerly known as China Longyuan Electric Power Group Corporation and changed its name to China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited in July 2009. China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited was founded in 1993 and is headquartered in Beijing, the People’s Republic of China. China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited is a subsidiary of China Guodian Corporation.

Longyuan Power Group Corp Ltd Wins Contract to Develop and Construct 200 MW of Wind Projects

Longyuan Power Group Corp. Ltd. won big deal with the local government of Guiyang county, located in the province of Hunan. As part of the agreement, Longyuan's Hubei-based unit will build wind facilities with a combined capacity of 100 MW there. Moving to Hubei province, the Chinese firm and Yichang city s district of Yiling have inked a 50-MW wind project development agreement. The scheme was also given the green light by the Provincial Energy Administration. In the meantime, China Longyuan won another 50-MW wind deal in Anhui province. Its local unit will execute the job under an investment and development agreement with the government of Quanjiao county.

China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited reported consolidated production results for the month and year to date ended March 31, 2015. For the month, on consolidated basis amounted to 3,559,571 MWh, representing an increase of 22.23% compared with the corresponding period of 2014. In particular, the wind power generation registered an increase of 26.83%, the coal power generation registered an increase of 14.28% and other renewable energy power generation registered a decrease of 29.78%. As at 31 March 2015, the total power generation of the Group for 2015 amounted to 9,610,422 MWh, representing an increase of 14.20% compared with the corresponding period of 2014. In particular, the wind power generation registered an increase of 17.46%, the coal power generation registered an increase of 9.37%, and other renewable energy power generation registered a decrease of 27.82%.

China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited to Implement Phase II Power Construction in Tibetan in 2015

China Longyuan Power Group Corporation Limited announced that in addition to wind power, Longyuan also developed other renewable energy projects such as solar power. In 2014, China Longyuan Power invested two solar power projects, in total 22 megawatts. Moreover, China Longyuan Power proactively returns its benefits to the society, such as being responsible for power construction in the power unavailable region in whole Tibetan, part of Qinghai and Xinjiang. Among which, the phase II power construction in Tibetan will be implemented in 2015, the construction capacity will be 13.7 megawatts. By the end of year 2014, installed capacity holding by Longyuan of renewable energy other than wind had reached 279.6 megawatts.
