Casio Computer Co., Ltd. Launches G-Factory Premium Concept Store in Greenbelt

Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced the launch of its first ever G-Factory Premium store in the Philippines. The G-Factory Premium store offers customers a first-hand look at Casio's watches infused with cutting-edge technology never before seen in timepieces. For the first time, Filipinos will be able to get a glimpse of Casio watches that were first unveiled at this year's Basel World, the world's pinnacle event for watches and jewelry. Casio announced to start their new direction, Global Time Sync concept, which is firstly installed to brands of G-SHOCK, Oceanus, and Edifice. For G-SHOCK and Oceanus, there is a new module system called GPS Hybrid Waveceptor which functionality uses global positioning system (GPS) or radio wave time-calibration signals to correct the time wherever the user is.

Casio Launches New Additions of G-Shock MT-G and MR-G Series and the Edifice Mobile Link Analog Line of Watches

Casio launched the new additions G-Shock MT-G and MR-G Series and the Edifice Mobile Link Analog line of watches. The new EQB-510 and ECB-500 watches feature simple watch faces that enable the wearer to read the time at glance. They also link with smartphones, making it easy to check the time of more than 300 cities worldwide in 40 time zones through the sub dial. The new watches expand the line-up of watches based on the "Global Time Sync" concept and are based on the Smartphone Link EQB-500. This capability means that both the analogue-style EQB-510 and digital-analogue style ECB-500 make it even easier to set the world time. Designed for business users, they feature multidimensional, high-contrast watch faces. The simple layouts clearly present both the local time and one world time at a glance. Users can also easily switch the time displayed on the inset dial to the main dial and vice versa, either from the watch or a smartphone, to view the local time on the main hour and minute hands while traveling and the home time on the inset dial. The MT-G series of watches feature both comfortable-to-wear resin and metal with a refined finish. The MTG-G1000D line-up comes with the GPS Hybrid Wave Ceptor time-keeping system for receiving both GPS satellite signals and radio wave time-calibration signals. Casio has also equipped the watches with its Dual Coil Motor, which enables the watch hands in the inset dial at the 6 o'clock position to move at high speed both clockwise and counter-clockwise, allowing the time shown in the dial to change quickly and easily when world time functions are used. The user's home time and world time can also be instantly switched between the main dial and inset dial just by pressing the upper right button of the watch. Casio refined its Core Guard Structure especially for these MT-G watches. It improved the watch's resistance to shocks from the surface by shaping parts to protect the module and by adopting a new spring-like fine resin sheet as a cushioning material. The MRG-G1000 features the ground-breaking hybrid solar-powered timekeeping system employed in other G-Shock and Oceanus watches, keeping time by receiving both GPS signals and radio wave time-calibration signals.

Casio Computer Co., Ltd. Releases Two New Digital Pianos

Casio Computer Co., Ltd. announced that it will release two new digital pianos. With the new GP-500BP and GP-300, Casio is introducing the new CELVIANO Grand Hybrid lineup, which combines the advantages of both digital and acoustic pianos while delivering an experience like that of a grand piano, including the tone, keys, and playing comfort. The two new models will bring together all the electronic musical instrument technology that Casio has developed over 35 years. These instruments are designed to faithfully represent the tone, keyboard and playing comfort of a grand piano. Casio has developed a new AiR Grand Sound Source that enables beautiful sound and rich reverberation just like a grand piano. It provides the sound profiles of three grand piano styles with a long history: the Berlin Grand, which is known for its elegant clear sound and a reverberation that gives each performance rich melodic color; the Hamburg Grand, which delivers gorgeous power and strength with plenty of string resonance; and the Vienna Grand, which provides a calm and stately sound with rich bass and beautiful tones when the keys are played softly. Of the three, the Berlin Grand sound was developed in collaboration with C. Bechstein, a piano maker with a history of over 160 years. As a result, the new models have moved beyond the realm of conventional digital pianos, demonstrating a commitment to nuanced sound creation. Furthermore, the GP-500BP and GP-300 feature a Grand Acoustic System that faithfully represents the sound of a grand piano as it emanates from above and below the soundboard. The system delivers three-dimensional sound with tonal elongation, expansion and depth. Another feature is the Natural Grand Hammer Action Keyboard. It combines spruce wooden key material as used in C. Bechstein grand pianos, and a new unique action mechanism that delivers the right hammer movement, which has a big impact on the playing response of a grand piano. This allows the pianist to produce nuanced sound with a delicate touch that is essential for demonstrating the expressive power of the piano, while also enjoying reliable key response and supple playing comfort.
