The company is also involved in the operation of a hotel. As of December 31, 2013, it operated 173 container vessels with a total capacity of 786,252 terminal throughputs. The company was founded in 2005 and is based in Tianjin, the People’s Republic of China. China COSCO Holdings Company Limited is a subsidiary of China Ocean Shipping (Group) Company.

Profit attributable to equity holders of the Company for 2014 was RMB 362,529,000 as compared to profit attributable to equity holders of the Company of RMB 235,470,000 in 2013. The basic and diluted earnings per share for 2014 amounted to RMB 0.0355 and RMB 0.0355, respectively. Operating profit was RMB 1,042,730,000 against operating loss of RMB 1,302,972,000 a year ago.
