The Board of China Pacific Insurance (Group) Co., Ltd. recommended a final dividend of RMB 0.50 per share (including tax) for the year ended December 31, 2014, amounting to approximately RMB 4.531 billion in aggregate. The proposed final dividend is subject to the approval of shareholders at the 2014 annual general meeting of the company. If approved, it is expected that the payment of the final dividend will be made on or before July 17, 2015 to the shareholders whose names appear on the H share register of members of the company on June 3, 2015. The company reported audited consolidated earnings results for the year ended December 31, 2014. For the period, the company reported net premiums earned of RMB 172,891 million against RMB 159,625 million a year ago. Total income was RMB 216,205 million against RMB 192,217 million a year ago. Profit before tax was RMB 14,500 million against RMB 11,914 million a year ago. Net profit for the year attributable to equity holders of the parent was RMB 11,049 million or 1.22 cents per basic and diluted share against RMB 9,261 million or 1.02 cents per basic and diluted share a year ago. Net cash inflow from operating activities was RMB 40,050 million against RMB 45,114 million a year ago. Purchases of property and equipment, intangible assets and other assets were RMB 3,645 million against RMB 3,676 million a year ago. In 2014, the company realized operating revenue of RMB 219.778 billion, up 13.8%. Weighted average ROE stood at 10.3%, up 0.8% point.
