Dah Sing Financial Holdings Limited, an investment holding company, provides banking, insurance, financial, and other related services in Hong Kong, Macau, and the People’s Republic of China. The company’s Personal Banking segment accepts deposits from individual customers; and provides residential mortgage lending, personal loans, overdraft, and credit card services. This segment is also involved in insurance sales and investment activities. Its Commercial Banking segment offers deposits; loans and working capital finance to commercial, industrial, and institutional customers; and trade financing. The company’s Treasury segment provides foreign exchange services and centralized cash management for deposit taking and lending; offers interest rate risk management; and manages investment in securities. Its Overseas Banking segment provides personal and commercial banking products and services. The company’s Insurance Business segment offers life assurance and general insurance services, such as travel, domestic helper, household, and hospital cash insurance. Dah Sing Financial Holdings Limited also offers various investment funds, shares financing, remittances, money exchange, travelers cheques, credit and trade information, and nominee services; equity linked investment services; safe deposit boxes; fixed income instruments; corporate tax, money market, and term loans; SME banking; e-Banking; and SME financing guarantees. In addition, it provides trade settlement services; electronic trade declaration and payroll services; mandatory provident fund; property mortgage; letter of guarantee; initial public offering financing; margin trading on equities/foreign exchange; insurance premium financing; and trust and fiduciary services. Further, the company engages in insurance brokerage and agency, property investment, and securities dealing activities. Dah Sing Financial Holdings Limited is based in Wanchai, Hong Kong.
