Nissan Chemical Industries, Ltd. engages in chemicals, performance materials, agricultural chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and trading businesses in Japan and internationally. Its chemical products include MELAMINE, an adhesive agent; high purity chemicals; AdBlue, a urea solution in demineralised water; FINEOXOCOL, a saturated fatty alcohol and acid; ammonia and sulfuric acid products; concrete and civil engineering products; TEPIC, an epoxy compound; Melamine Cyanurate, a nitrogen compound; PHOSMEL, a salt of melamine, polymerized melamine, and polyphosphoric acid; HI-LITE, a chlorinated isocyanulate; and active pharmaceutical ingredients. The company’s performance materials comprise SUNEVER, a polyimide resin; NHC series silica type inorganic protective coatings; BARC, a bottom anti-reflective coating; SNOWTEX, a colloidal silica; ORGANOSILICASOL, a colloid; HIGH REFRACTIVE INDEX SOL, a spherical core-shell sol; CELNAX-Z series, a colloidal dispersion of zinc antimonite; and NanoUse, a metal oxide sol. It also offers pharmaceutical products, such as LIVALO, a statin agent; LANDEL and FINTE that blocks calcium channels; NT-702, an inhibitory agent; NTC-801, an antiarrhythmic agent; and NIP-022 that increases platelet count, as well as agricultural chemicals, including herbicides, grass killers, insecticides, acaricides, and fungicides. In addition, the company provides advanced materials comprising HYPERTECH, a nanometer-sized spherical polymer; and OPTBEADS, a melamin-formaldehyde resin and silica particle, as well as trades fine chemicals, commodity products, and imported chemicals. Further, it engages in landscaping, environmental analysis, transportation, engineering, fertilizer, and electronic materials businesses. The company was formerly known as Dainippon Jinzo Hiryo and changed its name to Nissan Chemical Industries, Ltd. in 1937. Nissan Chemical Industries, Ltd. was founded in 1887 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.

For the year, the group reported net sales of ¥171,206 million, operating income of ¥25,347 million, ordinary income of ¥26,391 million and net income of ¥18,199 million or ¥113.99 per share compared to net sales of ¥163,658 million, operating income of ¥22,246 million, ordinary income of ¥23,723 million and net income of ¥16,701 million or ¥102.11 per share reported in the same period last year. Cash Flows from operating activities was ¥20,452 million against ¥23,759 million reported last year. Return on equity was 12.7% against 12.7% reported last year. Income before income taxes and minority interests was ¥25,296 million against ¥23,723 million reported last year. Capital expenditure were ¥9.8 billion against ¥8.8 billion reported last year. EBITDA was ¥33.8 billion against ¥30.8 billion reported last year.
