MagIndustries Corp., together with its subsidiaries, is engaged in forestry and mineral mining businesses in the Republic of Congo (ROC). It owns and operates 68,000 hectare eucalyptus fibre congo, a sustainable and renewable forestry business in Pointe-Noire, ROC, which supplies wood chips to customers in the pulp and paper, and fiberboard industry in the European and North African market. The company explores for and develops potash resource properties. Its principal asset comprises rights relating to the Mengo Potash Project and an approximately 1,500 square kilometre area located in Pointe-Noire, ROC. The company focuses on the construction and commissioning of a 1.2 million tones per year potash plant on the Mengo Permit Area to produce primarily agricultural-grade potash fertilizers for South America, South Africa, and Europe markets located in the Atlantic port city of Pointe-Noire, ROC. The company was formerly known as Magnesium Alloy Corporation and changed its name to MagIndustries Corp. in January 2005. MagIndustries Corp. is headquartered in Toronto, Canada.

Both Mr. Gingerich and Mr. Hopkins have strong professional credentials and deep experience with public companies which equip them well to advise and guide MagIndustries. They are both independent of majority shareholder, Evergreen Holding. Mr. Hopkins will chair the audit committee and Mr. Gingerich will serve as a member of that Committee. The Company expects to finalize the search for a third independent director with an appointment to be announced in coming days.
