Internet Initiative Japan Inc., together with its subsidiaries, offers Internet connectivity, WAN, outsourcing, and systems integration services primarily in Japan. The company operates in two segments: Network Services and Systems Integration Business, and ATM Operation Business. Its Internet connectivity services for corporate use include IP services and data center connectivity services, dial-up access services, IIJ mobile services, and IIJ FiberAccess/F and IIJ DSL/F services, as well as broadband Internet connectivity services comprising IIJ ISDN/F and IIJ line management/F services. The company’s Internet connectivity services for home use consists of various service line-ups, including ADSL, fiber optic, WiMAX, 3G, and LTE wireless data connections under the IIJ4U, IIJmio, and hi-ho brand names. The company also offers WAN services, a closed network service primarily using dedicated lines to corporate customers; outsourcing services that comprise of security-related, network-related, server-related, data center-related, and IIJ GIO/Hosting package services for non-customizable hosting package cloud computing services; and customer support and help desk solutions, and IP phone services. In addition, the company provides systems integration services, which include consulting, project planning, systems design, and development of network systems, which primarily focuses on Internet business systems, and Intranet and Extranet corporate information systems; and systems operation and maintenance services. Further, it sells routers, iPads, and other equipment, as well as provides automated teller machine (ATM) services. As of June 30, 2014, the company operated 30 primary points of presence (POP) for dedicated access and 2 universal POPs for nationwide dial-up access; and 26 Internet data centers. As of May 15, 2014, it operated 855 ATMs. Internet Initiative Japan Inc. was founded in 1992 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.

Internet Initiative Japan has signed a partnership agreement with SAS Institute Japan and Zeal. IIJ, SAS Japan and Zeal will jointly offer their new 'Cloud Analytics Solution' geared towards medium-sized enterprises. The platform is designed to enable customers to analyze and visualize the data necessary to conduct business on the cloud computing. The Cloud Analytics Solution combines the self-service analytics and business intelligence products of SAS, the BI systems architecture and operations technique developed by Zeal, and the cloud computing platform and its operations technology of IIJ.

Internet Initiative Japan Signs Partnership Agreement with Atmark Techno

Internet Initiative Japan has signed a partnership agreement with Atmark Techno. The partnership combines Atmark Techno's 'Armadillo-IoT' IoT gateway, with IIJ's 'Libarms' open source library, to create a framework that uses IIJ's 'Service Adaptor Control Manager (SACM)' management system platform to unify multiple sensors.

IIJ Introduces Prevent Money Transfer Scam Service

Internet Initiative Japan has launched a service dubbed 'IIJ Prevent Money Transfer Scam'. The service is designed to prevent damage from unauthorized internet banking transactions in the event that a user's computer becomes infected by malware.
