Edison Opto Corp Introduces the New PLCC High Voltage and Wide Angle Components for Street Lights and Residential Lighting

Edison Opto introduced the new PLCC high voltage and wide angle components for street lights and residential lighting. Edison Opto introduced the new high voltage SMD LEDs which include 3030 HV (1.5W 45V) and 5050 HV (12V/60V/65V). Edison HV series features high lm/$ and high luminous efficiency, for example, 3030 series can achieve 190lm under 1.5W 33mA (equivalent to 130lm/W). Besides, 5050 series can reach 360lm under the operation of 2.7W 60mA and deliver the best performance of 150lm/W under 1W 20mA. The high voltage and low current operation decrease the complexity of circuit and mechanical design which are easy for module design and power setting. In addition, the compact sizes of 3030 HV and 5050 HV are suitable for limited space outdoor AC module reducing the volume and cost of luminaires in the meantime. Used with optical lens, 3030 HV and 5050 HV series are optimized to be applied in any kinds of lighting sources, including street light, high/low bay, outdoor flood light and bulb. Besides, for residential lighting applications, Edison Opto launches PLCC 5630 Robin series which features uniform color mixing, excellent light quality and wide angle design (150°x125°). With linear IC, 5630 Robin can reduce the volume of luminaires. The small package of 5630 Robin series is especially suitable for thin lamps such as ceiling light, down light and bulb. It is absolutely the best choice of home lighting.

Edison Opto Corporation Releases 0.8W LED Filament

Edison Opto Corporation announced that it released 0.8W LED filament. Used in 4W bulb, the LED bulb can replace 40W incandescent bulb, bringing the advantages (energy saving and high efficiency) of LED into full play. Edison Opto can assist traditional incandescent bulb manufacturer in entering LED lighting market. Edison’s 0.8W filament uses packaging technology and serial LED chips to achieve 360° (omnidirectioanl) light distribution. With excellent light quality, the filament brings a whole new visual experience which is unlike traditional LED. As a result of using copper substrate as lead frame, the filament has better heat dissipation and higher reliability performance. Furthermore, the luminous efficacy of Edison filament can reach 125lm/W (under 2700K, CRI > 80) which is well-matched with sapphire substrate. With the advantages of high lm/$ and superior luminous efficiency, Edison’s 0.8W filament helps customers to achieve the same lighting effect and longer lifespan (up to 25,000 hours) with lower prices. In most of the lighting market, general consumers are still accustomed to using traditional light sources. The LED filament bulbs can substitute incandescent bulbs directly and create a nostalgic lighting space. Edison’s 0.8W filament is under mass production and can be ordered now.
