In addition, it operates magazine related Websites; markets magazine subscriptions in the United States; and publishes branded books, including soft-cover ‘bookazines’ through magazine-style ‘check-out pockets’ at retail outlets and traditional trade book channels; books on a range of topics aligned with its brands, including special commemorative and biographical books; and books under various licensed third-party brands and original titles. Further, the company publishes various home, cooking, and health books under its lifestyle-oriented brands and under licensed third-party brands; and licenses approximately 50 editions of its magazines to publishers in 25 countries. The company was founded in 1922 and is headquartered in New York, New York.

Time Reportedly In Talks To Sell London Office

Time Inc. (NYSE:TIME) is in exclusive talks to sell its U.K. unit’s headquarters in London to a venture between Oxford Properties Group, Inc. and Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited, according to a person with knowledge of the matter. The price will be about £465 million for the Blue Fin building on the south bank of the River Thames, the person said, asking not to be identified because the deal hasn’t been concluded. Temasek and Oxford Properties declined to comment. Time Inc. didn’t immediately reply to requests for comment.

Time Inc. Reports Unaudited Consolidated Earnings Results for the Second Quarter and Six Months Ended June 30, 2015; Reaffirms Earnings Guidance for the Year 2015

Time Inc. reported unaudited consolidated earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2015. For the quarter, the company reported total revenues of $773 million against $820 million a year ago. Operating income was $61 million against operating loss of $21 million a year ago. Income before income taxes was $39 million against loss before income tax of $33 million a year ago. Net income was $24 million or $0.22 per share basic and diluted against net loss of $32 million or $0.30 per share basic and diluted a year ago. Adjusted net income was $30 million against $33 million a year ago. Adjusted diluted EPS was $0.27 against $0.30 per share a year ago. Cash provided by operations was $63 million against $80 million a year ago. Capital expenditure was $59 million against $16 million a year ago. As of the quarter end, net debt stood at $995 million against $1.264 billion at the time of its separation from Time Warner just over a year ago. Adjusted OIBDA was $117 million against $113 million a year ago. For the six months, the company reported total revenues of $1,453 million against $1,565 million a year ago. Operating income was $66 million against operating loss of $141 million a year ago. Income before income taxes was $22 million against loss before income tax of $149 million a year ago. Net income was $15 million or $0.13 per share basic and diluted against net loss of $106 million or $0.98 per share basic and diluted a year ago. Cash provided by operations was $43 million against $80 million a year ago. Adjusted net income was $23 million against $49 million a year ago. Adjusted diluted EPS was $0.20 against $0.45 per share a year ago. Capital expenditure was $63 million against $23 million a year ago. Adjusted OIBDA was $168 million against $177 million a year ago. The company is reaffirming its 2015 outlook. Excluding the impact of dispositions, the company expects a total revenue decline of 1.5% to 4.5%, adjusted OIBDA in a range of $440 million to $490 million, capital expenditures in a range of $210 million to $220 million, operating income in a range of $85 million to $100 million and OIBDA in a range of $260 million to $290 million.
