Bracell Limited, an investment holding company, produces specialty cellulose primarily in the People’s Republic of China and other Asian countries, the Americas, and Europe. The company produces and sells rayon-grade pulp and specialty-grade dissolving wood pulp. Its products are used as natural raw materials and ingredients in a range of items, such as textiles, baby wipes, eyeglass frames, soft ice-cream, sausage casings, and pharmaceuticals, as well as industrial products, including tire cords. The company also owns and operates approximately 150,000 hectares of freehold plantation land, of which 84,000 hectares are planted with eucalyptus in Bahia, Brazil. In addition, it offers advisory and administrative services; marketing services for dissolving wood pulp; and consultancy services. The company was formerly known as Sateri Holdings Limited and changed its name to Bracell Limited in January 2015. The company was incorporated in 2010 and is based in Central, Hong Kong. Bracell Limited is a subsidiary of Gold Silk Holdings Limited.

Bracell Limited Recommends Final Dividend for the Year Ended December 31, 2014; Reports Audited Consolidated Earnings Results for the Year Ended December 31, 2014

The board of Bracell Limited has recommended a final dividend of 2.5 cents per share for the year ended December 31, 2014 (2013: 2.5 cents per share) payable to the shareholders whose names appear on the register of members of the company on May 27, 2015. Together with the special dividend of HKD 1.40 per share paid on December 24, 2014, total dividend for the year ended December 31, 2014 will be HKD 1.425 per share (2013: 2.5 cents per share). The Company reported that revenue was USD 478,718,000 compared to USD 455,511,000 a year ago. Operating profit was USD 78,461,000 compared to USD 66,418,000 a year ago. Profit before income tax was USD 54,833,000 compared to USD 35,715,000 a year ago. Profit attributable to owners of the company was USD 37,364,000 or 1.1 cents per basic and diluted compared to USD 33,344,000 or 1.0 cents basic and diluted a year ago. EBITDA was USD 200 million compared to USD 177 million a year ago. The Group's revenue from continuing operations increased by 5% to USD 479 million for the year ended 31 December 2014 from USD 456 million in 2013 due to the increased sales volumes. Cost of sales as a percentage of revenue was maintained at a similar level as last year, gross profit therefore increased by 5% to USD 179 million with a gross margin of 37%. The EBITDA of the Group's continuing operations also improved by 13% to USD 200 million with an EBITDA margin of 42%. Overall, the Group's continuing operations incurred USD 92 million in capital expenditure for the year ended 31 December 2014, compared to USD 64 million in 2013. The capital expenditure includes USD 43 million spent on forestation and reforestation assets in Brazil and USD 49 million on other capital expenditure. Net cash from operating activities of the continuing operations improved to USD 190 million compared with USD 142 million a year ago. Net debt as at 31 December 2014 amounted to USD 275 million compared with USD 500 million as at 31 December 2013.
