Micron Signs to Revise Supply Deal with Inotera Memories

Micron Technology announced a joint venture partner Formosa Plastics Group to the change terms of its supply agreement with Inotera Memories. Micron wants to revise its supply deal with Inotera in order to raise its share of Inotera's operating income. The accord has already been upwardly revised once. The two companies have an equal stake in Inotera Memories, but Micron is able to reserve all of Inotera's manufacturing output. The companies are in disagreement over an additional revision as Formosa Plastics claims Micron does not provide financial support to help Inotera migrate to 20nm chip production.
