Changshouhua Food Company Limited announced that the board resolved to recommend to the shareholders of the company at the forthcoming annual general meeting of the company to be held on 29 May 2015 a final dividend of 20 cents per share for the year ended 31 December 2014 against 15 cents per share in 2013, to be paid on 29 June 2015 to the shareholders whose names appear on the register of members of the company on 9 June 2015. The company announced consolidated unaudited earnings results for the full year ended December 31, 2014. For the year, the company reported revenue of RMB 2,778,948,000 against RMB 2,930,268,000 a year ago, mainly the combined result of: the decrease in the sales of corn oil under brand by approximately RMB 214.1 million or 11.6%; and the decrease in the sales of non-branded corn oil by approximately RMB 10.4 million or 1.9%. Profit from operations was RMB 324,232,000 against RMB 337,166,000 a year ago. Profit before taxation was RMB 309,335,000 against RMB 336,678,000 a year ago. Profit for the year attributable to owners of the company was RMB 266,279,000 against RMB 270,307,000 a year ago. Earnings per share attributable to owners of the company were 46.34 cents against 49.15 cents a year ago. As at 31 December 2014, deposits paid for the group's construction or acquisition of production plant, equipment and land use rights amounted to approximately RMB 53.9 million against RMB 20.6 million a year ago. The group will continue to enhance brand-building and expansion of marketing channels. It is expected that direct sales in first and second tier cities will be comprehensively achieved within two years with the sales channels sinking at the same time. It is also expected that the new product rice bran oil will be directly sold in first and second tier cities in 2015.
