Fields Corporation Unveils New Resident Evil 6 Pachislot Machine

Fields Corporation has announced the release of new pachislot machine from Enterrise Co. Ltd., Resident Evil 6. The "Resident Evil" series has represented the survival horror video game genre since the first title was released in 1996. The latest edition of the "Resident Evil" pachislot machine, "Resident Evil 6," further advances the series, combining the original grand story with the essential "genes" of the previous machines' game functions. Players will be able to immerse themselves in a visceral pachislot experience, feeling a mix of fear, excitement and emotion. This machine is not only for pachislot enthusiasts but a wide range of video game fans. The "Resident Evil 6" machine is scheduled for delivery July 2015 to pachinko halls throughout Japan.

Fields Corporation reported consolidated earnings results for the year ended March 31, 2014. For the period, the company’s net sales were ¥99,554 million against ¥114,904 million a year ago. Operating income was ¥4,743 million against ¥9,791 million a year ago. Ordinary income was ¥5,491 million against ¥9,765 million a year ago. Net income was ¥3,018 million against ¥5,370 million a year ago. Net income per share was ¥90.97 against ¥161.83 a year ago. Return on equity was 7.6% against 9.3% a year ago. Return on equity was 5.1% against 9.5% a year ago. Net cash used in operating activities amounted to ¥9,086 million compared to ¥16,322 million of income for the same period of the previous fiscal year. This was mainly due to income before income taxes and minority interests of ¥5,754 million, an increase of ¥17,232 million in notes and accounts receivable--trade, depreciation and amortization of ¥2,137 million and income taxes paid of ¥1,951 million. Net cash used in investing activities amounted to ¥6,297 million compared to ¥8,018 million of expenditure for the same period of the previous fiscal year. This was primarily attributable to expenditure for loans totaling ¥4,221 million, expenditure for purchases of intangible fixed assets totaling ¥1,665 million, expenditure for purchases of tangible fixed assets totaling ¥1,587 million, etc. Income before income taxes and minority interests was ¥9,588 million against ¥5,754 million a year ago. Income before minority interests was ¥5,444 million against ¥3,324 a year ago. For the Year ended March 31, 2015, the company announced a year-end dividend of ¥35.00 per share compared to ¥25.00 per share paid a year ago. Breakdown of year-end dividend into ordinary dividend of ¥25.00 per share and commemorative dividend of ¥10.00 per share, Payable on June 30, 2015. For the first six months of fiscal year ending March 31, 2016, the company expects to pay dividend of ¥25.00 per share compared to ¥25.00 per share paid a year ago. For the year ending March 31, 2016, the company expects to pay year-end dividend of ¥25.00 per share compared to ordinary dividend of ¥25.00 per share paid a year ago. For the full year ending March 31, 2016, the company expects net sales of ¥120,000 million, operating income of ¥6,000 million, ordinary income of ¥6,500 million and net income of ¥3,500 million or ¥105.47 per share.
