Co., Ltd. manufactures and sells pigments, printing inks, coloring agents for plastics and synthetic fibers, printing agents for textile, synthetic resin and high polymer products, electronics related products, biochemical products, and spectrophotometers. It provides various pigments, including organic pigments, inorganic pigments, and prepared pigments; and polymers, such as polyurethane for leather coatings, insulation varnishes, molding resins, polyurethane adhesives, special resin for magnetic tapes, surface coating agents, textile treatment and coating materials, functional materials, polyurethane coating systems, and others. The company also offers prepared colors and chemicals comprising paste colors, dry colors, wet colors, granulated colors, color concentrated masterbatches, and colored pallets; and fiber and textile colorants consisting of dope dyeing colorants for synthetic fiber, textile printing inks, special binders for textiles, and water base colorants for paper and paints. In addition, it provides offset inks consisting of sheet-fed offset inks, carton inks, Web offset rotary inks, letterpress inks, and varnishes; gravure inks for paper stocks, packaging films, building materials, and PVC and aluminum products, as well as functional inks and gravure printing plates; and other products, such as hardware for reflective platemaking, printing machines, and various printing hardware. Further, the company offers functional coating materials, biochemicals, color matching systems, chemical blowing agents, semiconductive masterbatches, electromagnetic wave shielding materials, and jet printing inks. Dainichiseika Color & Chemicals Mfg. Co., Ltd. was founded in 1931 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.

Dainichiseika Color & Chemicals Mfg. Co., Ltd. announced consolidated earnings results for the first quarter ended June 30, 2016. For the quarter, the company reported net sales of JPY 39,060 million compared to JPY 39,366 million a year ago. Operating income was JPY 2,866 million compared to JPY 2,900 million a year ago. Ordinary income was JPY 2,709 million compared to JPY 3,107 million a year ago. Profit before income taxes was JPY 3,430 million compared to JPY 3,126 million a year ago.
